Guest guest
Thanks Debby. I actually only let my dog have a little piece of pizza now and then and neither of us had any from mid-February until last night. He did fine with it but I suffered. Normally my pup eats an all natural diet of meat, eggs and pureed veggies, (supplemented with salmon oil and vitamins plus an occasional bone) created for him by a doggy nutritionist when he was just 8 weeks old. We've tweaked it some as he's gotten older and she said it was okay to allow him the occasional treat of a bite of pizza or a teaspoon of ice cream (he always begs his " daddy " , my boyfriend, for some) or yogurt. Just not every day. Our vet agreed and at almost 3 years old my little guy is very healthy. I feel much better now though. I did an hour of aerobics in the pool and then started the Vitamin C Flush. I'm sure I'll be back to normal...or close to it...in another hour or two. My tummy is still gurgling gas but my head is so much clearer. The exercise helped break up the stuffy feeling. I've definitely learned my lesson though. You know the type...very small, equivalent to about 2 regular slices of pizza. I let it unthaw thinking I would let my little dog, who adores pizza, have it over the next couple days. So there it sat on the counter top, unthawing and calling my name. YEP!! Please do not lose hope that you will have normal weight again. If you read my story " Bee's Personal Candida Story " (in the files after all of those Folders) you'll know what I went through, and I came back from skin and bones. Trully I did. I was seeing my holistic medical doctor every week day, so I was weighed. At first I started losing 1 lb. per day and then it was 2 lbs, and then I was losing 3 lbs per day. I was 5'7 " tall and my normal weight was about 130 lbs, but owwweee when I lost all that weight a man could put his fingers around my thigh bone. ==>But I persisted on the program and worked hard at re-gaining my health. My mother took care of me for awhile and when I couldn't possibly imagine doing an enema she administered my first one. After that it was a breeze. And what a wonderful sense of relief that 1st coffee enema gave me. Wow! ==>Now I'm just the sassiest diva you ever could meet! LOL! But I do eat well and take supplements. I'll be 65 in November and I have no degenerative diseases. Two things that causes me problems are 1) not having a thyroid, which I lost due of candida and 2) an old back injury that kicks up if I don't eat enough red meat & take 175 mg of calcium & 450 mg of magnesium per day. ==>Sue, you'll be a sassy diva in no time, at least compared to the rest of your life. The time this is going to take is a drop in the bucket when you think of how much life you have in you, and how much happier you will be. It's onward and upward my friend. Don't look back, look forward and imagine yourself the way you want to be. You can do it!! Hugs & luv, Bee

Dry brushed and then since I don't have a tub, I took a long hot shower using epsom salts crystals like a scrub (that left me feeling very refreshed and much better.) That was followed by a two hour nap. Breakfast and lunch today were the egg drink. Dinner was chicken livers cooked in coconut oil and a crisp salad. So I ate light but healthy. I am definitely feeling better. Joints are still a bit achy but I figure they will get better in a day or two. BTW...I have been drinking extra electrolyte drink all week. Our temps here in AZ have been dangerously high...not sure about today but yesterday it hit 118. I do know that it's currently almost 9:00 pm and still 110 outside. So extra fluids have been a must. The amazing thing though is that where I used to drink well over a gallon of water each day during the summer, I am now drinking about 64 ounces of electrolyte drink daily and I feel well hydrated. Guest guest
Thanks for the well wishes Gail. I am feeling so much better tonight. Bee, says it takes 1 month for every year you've had this problem. For me it has been basically since birth. Since I am now 59, it will take me nearly five years to get totally healthy...or as close to that as possible since I am minus my thyroid and one adrenal gland due to having cancer several years ago. The time spent getting healthy will be well worth it though. AND, I am sure I will have to watch it even then. After all, we will always have some candida in our bodies...it's a natural and supposed to be there. Just have to make sure it never gets out of control again. Guest guest
Life long way of eating? Maybe, maybe not. For me it will take years to get well again but I really don't care as long as I do. I doubt you will be skin and bones forever Sue. In time your body will adjust and your weight will too. I'm sure it is frustrating, but please concentrate on healing. As Bee says you heal from the inside out and the top down. Give it time. I didn't mean to lecture, its just that I fed my dog that I had for 13 years regular dog kibble and she got very fat and suffered with a lot of ailments. In the last few years of her life I found the raw food diet for her and it greatly improved her last few years.. she even lost almost 20 pounds in a year! > Normally my pup eats an all natural diet of meat, > eggs and pureed veggies, > (supplemented with salmon oil and vitamins plus an > occasional bone) created > for him by a doggy nutritionist when he was just 8 > weeks old. Wow, you are really lucky to have found someone to create such a great diet! I'll probably get another dog (mine passed on last year) in another couple of years once my son gets a little older and more mature.. I might be looking you up for some doggy diet hints! It's in my article under Hering's Law of Cures which states " natural healing progresses from the top down and from the inside out. " That's because the body heals more vital organs and areas before handling less important areas, so it will heal the head before the feet and the inner organs before the skin. Guest guest
Oh wow that's fantastic, what the body will heal first is more crucial. I knew about the inside out part, but I'm so glad the head will heal before the feet, skin etc. I'm so tired of walking around in a fog, I'm surprised I haven't cause any serious accidents! Inside that folder there is a file named " Healing Reactions.htm " that explains this. Guest guest
So true Ellen. And what is funny is that i watch my family eat and eat and eat and they think im nuts because i watch everything i eat. My son said to me b4, Ma i got your favorite potato chips for you and my hubby went to dunkin donuts and said to me i got you a plain donut so it doesnt have any sugar in it and your coffee(which i havent had in 6 months) only has sweet and low in it. Boy oh boy i try to explain it to them and they say are you sure ....Im like im not too sure of anything these days but i have to try it this way and see if i feel better. Guest guest
.. > > Bee, says it takes 1 month for every year you've had this problem. I didn't know this. Maybe it's in the file info somewhere and I missed it. I don't know how long I've had this. I've been pretty healthy (or so I thought). Have taken various supplements for years and I was on a low fat, high carb diet for a long time. Had not had any serious issues until last year when my BP skyrocketed (which had always been low) and blood sugar was up (not real high, but high for me I guess). I felt awful with light headedness, weakness, no energy, etc - felt like I was 90 yrs old. For 2 weeks I juiced most of my foods - veggies and fruits and cut out all sugar and processed foods. I felt better, dropped my BP 20 pts, but still high, and blood sugar back to normal. But never regained all my energy and couldn't get my BP any lower. After getting oral thrush, realizing I had candida and got on this diet I have dropped my BP another 10+ pts. I know that everything I'm following here is helping me get healthier in every way. More than likely I've had the Candida longer than when problems manifested last year, but I don't know how I would be able to determine just how long I might have had it. How does one know when it's totally gone? Gail

" Fake " is a good word their toxic junk. My mother's generation stayed at home and raised large families - I have 5 brothers and 2 sisters, while I've worked all my life and raised two daughters by myself. With both parents working nowadays they grab the most convenient foods, ready-made, chemicalized and fake, unfortunately. ==>I'm glad I could work because it gave me the freedom to not stay in toxic marriages, whereas with my mother's generation women were dependent upon their husbands and many endured abusive relationships because of it.
