Guest guest
Guys & Gals, I'm still at the Optimum Health Institute and I must say that I have turned away a lot of what they feed us here. Not because of taste but because of the fact that these are not the healthiest of food choices. For instance, we just recently did a two day green juice fast. The first meal after the fast was a form of gazpacho that contained avocado and tomato. After everyone was through eating a lot of them had gas and bloating. In addition, they serve a lot of sprouted beans and lentil. Neither of which aid someone like myself whom is Candida conscious. However, I've had some really awesome revelations here in my quite time. One of which I'd like to share. I've just realized that the reason I overeat is due to the elimination of starchy foods and simple carbohydrates. My body is programmed to believe that it is lacking something from each meal. Eating in excess is a substitute for the removed foods. But, this can cause impacted fecal matter and poor digestion, and as a result, aids to sustain Candida Albicans throughout the intestinal tract. I must make sure to only eat when truly hungry (as people have mentioned in this board many times before). And I will limit my food intake as a result. As healthy as I feel, my sleep patterns are off again, here at the Health Institute. This was one of my major Candida symptoms. I haven't experienced this in a while. At least 6 or 7 months. However, I am willing to bet that the raw vegetable and wheat grass diet is the cause for my poor sleep patterns as Candida Albicans has in no way been satiated through this diet. These are the final stages. Every time I think that I've gotten it right, I realize yet another level of discipline needs to be attained to truly achieve optimum health. I will never overeat again, ROM
