2nd stage adrenal fatigue

Hi Bee,

I did a saliva test recently for adrenal function and

related hormone levels, and the results came back

saying that I have 2nd stage adrenal fatigue. That

makes total sense with the job that I have, on top of

years of candida problems. As I mentioned in my other

mail, the candida seems to have subsided to almost

nothing.

In terms of the lab results, basically I have

abnormally low levels of coritisol, DHEA,

progesterone, or melatonin. The recommended adrenal

protocol consists of low level, sub lingual dosages of

pregnenolone, DHEA, and an adrenal supplement kind of

like Armour that is a desiccated bovine glandular.

I've read the adrenal material in the files -- I'm

doing the dry skin brushing, I don't drink caffeinated

beverages or eat bad fats, and I obviously don't eat

sugars or refined carbs. I'm also eating a lot of eggs

and butter. In short, the candida diet is ideal for

adrenal problems.

Can you think of anything else that might help?

Thanks,

Jeanne OTS

==>You are absolutely correct that the candida diet is ideal for

adrenal problems, but it can take time for the adrenals to

normalize. It takes the body 4 years to clear out bad oils and fats

and that could be the key that holds us up on achieving normal

functioning of many organs in the body. The body has to completely

change over all of its cells from bad fats and oils to the right

combination, including at least 50% saturated fats.

==>It is extremely important for the body to get it's main energy

from fats, and not from carbs. You can't mix the two, with carbs

running the body one day and fats the next. It can cause problems

for the body.

==>The lemon & sea salt drink is very helpful - you are taking it

though. Adrenal massages are great, as well as accupuncture,

accupressor or Shiatzu treatments. Increasing the number of times

you do dry skin brushing will help, as well as jumping rope or

rebounding on a mini trampoline.

==>It might also help you to increase your vitamin C - I've been

reading more about Linus ing's research on vitamin C and it

appears we need more than we thought. Our bodies need at least 4,000

mgs daily (1,000 mg must be from the tablet I recommend which

includes bioflavonoids, rutin, etc.) and the rest from sodium

ascorbate (mix equal amounts of ascorbic acid and baking soda and add

good water). But it is hard to get that much without getting loose

stools, so the trick is to start with less and gradually increase it

(every week or so). One of my friends adds her daily ration of

sodium ascorbate to the water she will drink in one day, and then use

that water to make your lemon and sea salt drink.

==>You can also get more vitamin C by squirting a mixture in your

nose, which makes it 1,000 time more absorable and by passes the

loose bowel problem (mix 1,000-1,200 mgs. of ascorbic acid, which is

usually 1/4 tsp. with an equal amount of baking soda, add 1/2 cup of

water and put it in a squirt bottle). Vitamin C also helps your body

utilize all minerals and vitamins better.
