Guest guest
I'm sooooo upset again. When I first got oral thrush and if I unknowingly ate something that was bad my lips would swell up twice their size and crack in the corners. Usually it would subside within 3-4 days max. I've been following the diet carefully and have had various die-off symptoms. Now my lips have been swollen with cracks and sores extending way out from the corners of my lips for almost a week. I previously had itchy skin and rash mostly in my under arm area that I'm sure was toxins trying to come out through my skin. Now that has subsided pretty much and the lip problem started. The other day my lips were really itchy and I was rubbing around them, then rash started from middle of lower lip extending abt an inch onto my chin. I'm supposed to be dealing with the public tomorrow and I'm afraid no one will want to come near me as I look sooooo " diseased! " Is there anything I can apply topically to help bring the swelling down and minimize the sores? I've tried tea tree oil topically which seemed to help some, but dries the lips out so badly, and this a.m. the swelling was worse again. I use a salve (that I make myself) just to keep the cracking and sore areas softened. Even if the swelling stays if I can find anything to reduce the red, ugly, diseased- looking cracking and sores I could deal with that. Guest guest
Dear Gail, Yes, you are experiencing healing symptoms my friend. I wish there were a quick fix for you so you can feel comfortable meeting with people, but there isn't. Healing naturally always takes more time than suppressing symptoms with drugs. Apply coconut oil frequently or put 5 drops of oil of oregano in about 2 tsps. coconut oil and apply it. Bee > > I'm sooooo upset again. I think my upper lip is abt 3 times it's normal size - naturally plumped! LOL Hopefully they'll go back to normal soon.
