Yes...chlorophyll comes from plants & trees, leaves mostly, including ocean

& lake algae. Nature's Way liquid chlorophyll is made from alfalfa, one of

Mother Nature's most perfect foods along with wheat & barley grasses & sea

foods such as blue green algae/spirulina & chlorella.

Chlorophyll is the green " blood " of leaves like human/animals red blood. Red

& green are opposite one another on the color wheel so they have a symbiotic

relationship for survival purposes.

In many health teachings, humans & animals exhale carbon monoxide &

plants/trees inhale it. Trees & plants recycle carbon monoxide & exhale

oxygen which humans need to inhale to survive. A lot of diseases are caused

by lack of oxygen.

Apologies if this is too much information.

==>Hi Maddalena. Liquid chlorophyll is more readily absorbed, but I

have not studied chlorophyll capsules to see what they contain. And of

course the chlorophyll must come from alfalfa.

Hi Bee,

Is there any nutritional difference between the liquid chlorophyll and the

capsuls one? If someone can't take the liquid form can they take the

capsules and expect the same health benefits?

I've posted this before for some reason it didn't go through.

==>Sorry your post did not go through before. Sometimes I have

terrible difficulty accessing and posting messages. needs to get

their act together. It's been like this for months.

==>About chlorophyll capsules versus liquid - I'd need a sample product

to check it out, but IF the capsule is made with alfalfa without

heating it, etc., nor with additives not contained in the liquid,

it " should be " equal in nutrition.

Sorry Bee, haven't checked it out yet. Since I will be going to the cottage

for a week starting this Saturday I didn't want to take the liquid

chlorophyll. Can you reccomend a brand in capsules form?

With regards to , this is the reason I changed my e-mail address, way

too stressful ;-)

==>I do not know of any good capsules. Why don't you put your liquid

in a bottle with an eye dropper. That's what I use all of the time,

and it's very handy for squeezing into water. I've figured out that

5 droppers full equals 1 tbl.

Bee told me it was okay to put the chlorphyll in the electrolyte drink,

so that's how I do it. :)

Ellen,

What does the magnesium powder taste like? Does it dissolve ok and where do

you buy yours/what brand?

a,

I use Gillham's Natural Calm ( 1 tsp=205 mg.) which dissolves well.

Says highly absorbable. About $20.00. for 16 oz.

I also use Now Magnesium citrate Powder (1 tsp=630 mg.) Says no

excipients or fillers. About $5.00 at Vitaglo for 8 oz.

It tastes fine (both brands) and dissolves okay.

Thanks Ellen - I have seen the NOW Magnesium powder but some supplement

taste awful to me. I might give it a try since loose powder is usually a

better deal and you are not taking fillers and unnecessary capsules.
