Guest guest
Dear Bee, I wanted to thank you for the cabbage rejuvelac recipe. It has helped to make me feel better. You are right that it is a much better choice than Kombucha tea. I am considering trying I am wondering if you, or anyone else has had any success with Threelac? Also, I am EXTREMELY wary of prescription drugs of any kind, and I am surprised that you are advocating Nystatin. I would be concerned about Candida coming right back after discontinuing its use. Also, I am curious to know why you took Nystatin for 2 and a half years. Did you try to stop periodically, and then decide to continue until you were absolutely sure that you were cured? I would really appreciate it if you could tell please tell me more. Also, if in the event, that I decided to take Nystatin, can you recommend an economical Internet source? Guest guest
Hi , ==>You are welcome for the cabbage rejuvelac recipe. I'm glad it has made you feel better. >>I am considering trying I am wondering if you, or anyone else has had any success with Threelac? ==>I do not recommend Threelac because: 1) the company claims you can take it without following the candida diet, which is totally untrue; and 2) it contains castor oil, which is a purgative (cleans out the bowels like a laxative), and 3) many candida sufferers have reported not doing well on it. > Also, I am EXTREMELY wary of prescription drugs of any kind, and I am surprised that you > are advocating Nystatin. ==>It is because I took it and was successful using it, along with diet and other things, to cure my candida in the mid 1980s. It is very strong and very effective. >>I would be concerned about Candida coming right back after > discontinuing its use. ==>You are not trying to get rid of candida. You only want to change it back to it's original state, which is benign, protective and helpful in all the mucus membranes. It is not like a bacteria. Candida overgrowth can happen again in future if a person takes antibiotics, drugs, has poor nutrition, etc. - any of the things that causes it to change and start overgrowing, or anything that causes a depressed immune system. >>Also, I am curious to know why you took Nystatin for 2 and a half years. Did you try to stop periodically, and then decide to continue until you were > absolutely sure that you were cured? I would really appreciate it if you could tell please tell me more. ==>I didn't know any better. " Just kidding. " I was under the care of medical holistic doctors, and candida was new to them, and all they knew to perscribe at the time was nystatin powder. My last symptom to heal was vaginal yeast (finally!!), and when it was gone I stopped taking nystatin. But I also did many other things than just nystatin, i.e. diet, vitamins, minerals, oils, vit. & minerals shots, candida extract shots, enemas, douches, garlic, pau d'arco, cabbage rejuvelac, etc., etc. I couldn't work for 1 1/2 years and was on welfare. Check out my story in the Files. ==>I do not know of an internet source of nystatin, and you must get a perscription for it from a medical doctor. Take care, Bee
