For the light colored stools, I am positive its a sign of gallbladder problems; the whitish color is due to the lack of bile, which gives normal stools a brownish color. francine
Guest guest
Dear Group, I made a mistake in saying that " another sign of other malabsorption problems are light colored stools and stools that float rather than sink. " Stools that float rather than sink are healthy, not sinkers. I was also mistaken about the light-colored stools too. I guess I'm not quite awake yet. lol! Sorry about that my friends. Guest guest
Dear Francine, I'm confused about the color of the stools. I have just done what I don't recommend anyone else do, and that is search curezone for answers about stools. Their information has now confused me. lol! Hey, I'm not perfect. I think you are right that light colored stools indicate a lack of bile - it makes sense. I think I need to get " better informed " about this. If you or anyone else has a more reliable source of information maybe we could post it to clear up the misinformation on this subject.
