What are you taking? Maybe you should try a T3 medication. T3 works on depression.Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: Click Here

Hi ,

Can you help us all out with more info ? You are taking .3 of what

medication ? Are you saying you are still taking it and have gone

from hypo to hyper and back to hypo while taking the same med. at the

same dose ? If so might be time to switch meds. Please give us some

more info so we can help more effectively including thyroid test

results ie: T3,T4,freeT4,RT3,T3 uptake,TSH, thyroid antibody test.

Wow, Santee, CA- Do you remember a Machurek? That is our best friend. I am taking syntroid. I was negligent in taking my meds and my TSH was -150 that is when the dr. mega dosed me at a .3 of syntroid for 4 months. I then became hyperthyroid for a few months this summer. When the dr told me I was taking too much thryoid and they needed to down me some I took only days I would remember to take them.......knowing I was hyper I thought I wouldn't need all of the pills. Now I am back down to hypo thyroid....and trying to lose weight.... yet again. tk200192071 <tk2001@...> wrote: Hi ,Can you help us all out with more info ? You are taking .3 of what medication ? Well I weigh in at 250..course I don't look my weight (I guess we all think that right?) hehehe

I have had a membership at a gym-but never went, NOW I plan on going. I will have to ask my dr. about your prescription. My sister swears on paxil, but for me it makes me yawn...all day. I started taking it at night and it just makes me not want to get up in the morning.

I take Effexor XR and I take it in the evening, as opposed to the morning. Have you tried taking your meds in the evening? All the nasty side effects get slept off that way. I would love to lose some weight this year. I feel like I am trapped in a 60 lb. fat suit. =( love in Ca.

Are you still taking you synthroid and how much ?

It is inadvisable to skip doses, it will mess up your body and can

cause more symptoms like depression etc. I would suggest that you

get back to your doctor and change your prescription. But first do

some research here and on the net so you can learn how to help

yourself - the doctors usually can't without your guidence.

The name sounds familiar but I am an L.A. transplant.

T3 is naturally found in Armour Thyroid. The synthetic version is called Cytomel.
