Guest guest Posted September 17, 2005 Report Share Posted September 17, 2005 Dear K, I agree with Irene that the reason dairy products, except butter, most candida sufferers do not tolerate them is because lactose is a sugar, which feeds candida, and also because lactose and casein are difficult to digest. If you are not doing well you should try an experiment of going off dairy for 5 days and see if you improve. Many others have found they did better without dairy. But, upon looking at the nutritional info for " Lactaid " milk, where supposedly this has already been done for you, the carbohydrate/sugar count was exactly the same! So much for that idea......
