Guest guest
Hi Bee! This is a question regarding my husband. I am wondering if he has candida, but we do know he has adrenal issues. I am working with him on making some dietary changes and doing the things in the adrenal file. However, right now he is having a terrible time sleeping and this is just making things worse each day. He is so tired but unable to fall asleep. Is there anything in the files that addresses sleep? What are some natural solutions for sleeplessness that would help until the root problem is taken care of? Thanks so much!! Trish

Low calcium can cause sleep problems. 2) Taking adequate B complex 50 mgs twice a day - b vitamins are important for rapid eye movement & proper dreaming. 3) Take some herbal supplements for sleeping which contain valerian, passionflower, chamomile, mistletoe, or other herbs will aid sleep. 4) Melatonin is helpful for people with sleep issues - but they should not be taken for long periods of time, and there are precautions on the label which should be heeded in case he has other health problems - take 2-3 3 mg tablets about 15 minutes before bedtime. 5) Do not consume fats too close to bedtime, i.e. 3 hours prior, because they provide energy and may interfere with sleep. 6) Taking a bath 1/2 before bed is extremely helpful, esp. with epsom salts, which is magnesium - it relaxes the body. 7) Keeping the room cool. 8) Keeping away from bright lights prior to bed (that includes the computer & TV) - it helps the body sleep if you cut down on exposure to light at least 1 hour before bedtime. I suggest he try reading before bedtime instead. That's all I can think of at the moment. Bee
