Guest guest
If anyone remembers my posts about getting this " high " everyday, I finally figured out the culprit, it was the coconut oil believe it or not. So I do believe it is possible to eat too much coconut oil. I was not measuring my intake, just pouring it in the blender when I make my egg drink. Well last Tuesday I did not have any coconut oil at all and finally for the first time in I don't know how long I did not get the high. Since that day I have been measuring every oz I take in and I have been clear as a bell. Debby, seeing that you use 1/2 cup of the stuff have you ever experienced the high like I was getting? I don't think I was using a 1/2 cup but at least twice what Bee recommends. Anyway what a relief to have figured that one out. I was taking this natural healing thing to new heights, literally! (I know Bee, more is not better!!!) Shirley >--- tarinya2 <tarinya2@...> wrote: > > 4) Is it possible to eat too much coconut oil? I've > > been eating around 8 Tbsp per day. Guest guest
Hi Shirley, As I stated in the post I just sent, I have progressively felt better and better on this program. I don't think I've ever felt high at all, unless you consider having more energy, better moods, wanting to actually go out in the sunshine and play with my son rather than sit on the couch feeling high. Sometimes after spending so long feeling crappy it kind of feels like being high to me. But seriously, remember that candida let off toxins that are similar in effect to alcohol, so it would make sense to me that you would feel high, especially if that's the way you react to alcohol. So it would seem to me that you should just be more careful with coconut oil, and increase your dose very slowly and gradually. Maybe you should stick with just the clean diet for a while and not rush to add in the antifungals? Guest guest
Well, since I have scaled wayyyyy back on the coconut oil I am very nauseous in the mornings after the egg drink, I never had this symptom before. I cut down the number of raw eggs from 4 to 3 hoping that would help but it didn't, so I will try 2 tomorrow morning. So instead of getting high all the time now, I just wanna hurl all the time now. Today was such a crappy day for me I just wanted to crawl into bed and start all over tomorrow. The coconut oil was supplying me with an incredible amount of energy which seems totally depleted now. uuugggghhhhh Will someone please say a prayer for us to get through these trying times. Guest guest
Shirley, I feel for you honey.. I too suffer from die off when i take anti-fungals and i have not even tried the coconut oil yet but was going to add it this week. I know how great the diet makes me feel and i stick to it without deviation for the past 3 weeks. I don't want to change how great i have been feeling so maybe you should just try the diet and add the oil slowly. I know when i add the oik it will be slowly. Feel better and try to remember that there is always someone out there who is worse off than we think we are. We all have eachother for comfort. What a beautiful thing! If you've had foods not allowed in the past 3 days it could still be affecting you, so do re-check your foods. Also the supplements are important as well as the lemon juice & sea salt in water. The whole program works together, and leaving out or changing anything will change the results, your progress and your tolerance. > > So instead of getting high all the time now, I just wanna hurl all the time > now. Sometime we have to bite the bullet and endure the symptoms, but it is not ever easy. Been there, done that! Read Bee's Personal Candida Story if you want to know what I went through - it's a file after all of the folders. I'm praying hard for you Shirley! Hang in there. Bee, I make the egg drink in the morning and drink half of it for breakfast then the other half as part of my dinner. I did try something different yesterday though, I made a kefir smoothie with homemade goat's milk kefir, ice, 3 eggs, 4tbs coconut oil and 1/4 of a cup of lemon juice and some stevia and I was not nauseous at all, and it was the best darn smoothie I ever had (think liquid lemon chiffon). I was wondering if I could start up with my kefir again because I did not get any reactions or cravings after consuming it, and it eliminated the nausea. The probiotic (superdophilus) I take has maltodextrin in it and the kefir has galactose so which is the lesser of the two evils? Sticking to your program makes it very easy to pinpoint between healing and non-healing reactions. I drink the electrolyte drink throughout the day and take all my supps. For some reason I can not tolerate the chlorella though, it gives me loose stools, is this healing that I should endure or just cut it out all together? I was taking 1000mg a day but that was wayyyy too much so I cut back to 500mg and the results are not quite as bad but still noticeable. >==>You know the coconut oil is working because it is creating healing >symptoms. I gotta wonder about the coconut oil, I switched brands....and the one I am currently using is not as tasty as the last gal I bought, it was cheaper too (still virgin organic though). So I am wondering if it is the particular brand of oil that does not agree with me, what do you think? >==>I'm praying hard for you Shirley! Hang in there. Thank-you, I say a prayer of thanks every night for finding you. Love, Shirley
Guest guest
Hi Sue, Thanks for the kind words, I feel better today. I was thrown by the nausea (not pregnant) because I have been using coconut oil for at least a year now and have been on the diet for 5 months. I think the brand has something to do with it, all coconut oil is not created equal. We learn as we go right? Do remember that not having nausea is necessarily a sign that it is okay however. > > Sticking to your program makes it very easy to pinpoint between healing and non-healing reactions.
