Guest guest
Hi, I just joined and I was reading the messages and came upon this. I had read recently that a woman was using emu oil for her husbands psoriasis and it worked great so I bought some including emu oil shampoo because most of my family has a problem with psoriasis along with candida. I haven't heard anything about emu oil causing baldness. Is there anyway to look up more information this. Thanks, SheilaN ps:I have been lowcarbing for over ten years. I get problems as soon as I have one bite of bread or unknowingly consume other grains.
Guest guest
Hi Sheila, Welcome to our group. I can't answer your question about emu oil causing baldness but if you have problems eating breads or grains you might benefit greatly by doing my candida program (in the files on the left side-bar), which contains no grains and explains all about them. All grains, legumes, seeds and nuts must be soaked properly before they are fit to consume; something our food industry does not take the time to do. See the files for soaking methods. More than likely you have a leaky gut, and this diet is good for anyone's health. One of the most important aspects of it is eating plenty of " good " animal meats and " good " oils and fats, i.e. coconut oil, butter, palm oil, lard, etc. All new-fangled vegetable oils and fats are very damaging to health whereas good ones are beneficial and even necessary to health. I hope that helps. Bee
Guest guest
Thank you Bee for your welcome. I agree with you regarding all that you say. I have been grain free for over ten years with a lowcarb diet and I use all the correct oils etc. I just once in a while have about an inch of bread or have some hidden flour or something served to me in a restaurant and pay for it for days. The last time it happened I had one of those lowcarb wraps at Quiznos knowing it would be bad but doing it anyway. I don't usually fall for those types of things, eating only pastured meats usually, organic vegetables, and berries. Although a few times in those ten years I cheated for a couple weeks. =) I have had to take antibiotics a couple times recently for pneumonia and infected bone under my tooth and I have a candida flare up and my psoriasis gets bad again. I have been following Native Nutrition for a while and lurk on the NN list among others and have learned a lot but have issues still. I have done a couple of liver cleanses also and seem to do way better for a couple weeks. I think I need to do more. Guest guest
Hi Sheila n welcome. Re emu oil causing baldness, I have a few gay friends n when using n swapping their moisturiser thingies with girls, they often say no emu oil for fascial n hair products ( acting like a bunch of drama queens...lol ). I think this applies only to the area to which you apply it. Guest guest
Hi Sheila, That's great that you are having foods according to Weston A. Price principles. Well done! >>>I have had to take antibiotics a couple times recently for pneumonia and infected bone under my tooth and I have a candida flare up and my psoriasis gets bad again. ==>If you happen to get pneumonia again you could avoid antibiotics by taking raw crushed garlic or garlic tea (recipe is in the files). I took two bouts of antibiotics years ago for pneumonia but they didn't help so I resorted to garlic tea (4 cups a day) plus raw garlic. Also clove oil is a very potent antibiotic, or make clove tea. I take clove oil regularly. It's quite inexpensive - just buy the one in the drug store used for toothaches. I take 5 drops in warm water; for illness you could take 5 drops up to 4 times a day. You might consider doing the enemas (garlic or nystatin, probiotics and coffee). Many people have reported great results and relief from them.
