Guest guest
I was the queen of skipped heartbeats for many years, I also have SVT(supraventricular tachycardia). AFter many years of trying this and that, I have found I cannot tolerate any calcium supplements, so I drink raw goat's milk kefir for my calcium (I know this is not on the diet, but when you heal from the candida, you can have it!), and I take magnesium glycinate by Solgar. That is the best magnesium I have ever tried. They come in 100mg. pills, and whenever I get a skipped beat, I bite off like 50mg. of it, and that takes care of it. I cannot handle large amounts of magnesium because it lowers my already low blood pressure. Mag. glycinate is extremely absorbable. Maybe just take a break from the calcium supplementation right now and try plain mag. glycinate. I wasted years trying Shaklee cal/mag and many many others till I found the mag. glyc. Celtic sea salt in the drink Bee recommends is also VERY helpful for the heart problem, as is lots of good fats to keep the blood sugar balanced. Back when I was very sick, I would get terrible skipped beats before every meal, so eat lots of good fats so you wont have dips in blood sugar. Hope this helps, Juli --- Joyce Soos <joycesoos@...> wrote: > I am back to this problem again. I have tried the > new calcium and mag tablets from Natural Factors. Guest guest
Hi Joyce, Oprah just went through the same symptoms you are describing as she was approaching menopause. I had never heard of irreg heartbeats being a symptom of menopause until I saw her show on it. She also had ALL the best cardio exams that money can buy, to no avail, it was the good old fashioned " change. " The fact that you are experiencing this periodically also supports the peri/menopause theory. I hope this eases your mind a bit. Guest guest
Thanks for this info. I am presently about to start my period, and those heartbeats are driving me crazy! I am glad that I am not going nutso! Shirley G <chickwbrains@...> wrote: Hi Joyce, Oprah just went through the same symptoms you are describing as she was approaching menopause. Guest guest
I did not take the calcium and the mag from Natural Factors today, and most of the double-beats are gone. I am not as hyper either. I cannot take kefir but was wondering how else I can get my calcium? I will try your type of magnesium. Right now, I am staying off of the above for a few days. It was no fun with my heart jumping around yesterday! Juli <rank35@...> wrote: I was the queen of skipped heartbeats for many years, I also have SVT(supraventricular tachycardia). Guest guest
Joyce, Try to stay away from calcium supplements. ANother great way to get calcium is eating sardines or salmon with the bones. And a great way is bone broth, where you boil bones in water and vinegar for around 24 hours and sip on that. I usually just cook a chicken with vinegar for 24 hours, and the stock is loaded with minerals. Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon has all the great recipes in it for many nourishing foods. I am sure Bee would agree, Juli --- Joyce Soos <joycesoos@...> wrote: > I did not take the calcium and the mag from Natural > Factors today, and most of the double-beats are > gone. It was no fun with my heart jumping around yesterday! ==>Joyce, please see the Candida Diet folder for Nutrients contained in foods. There are many foods that contain calcium and magnesium, so along with the supplements of no more than 600 mgs. per day if you are on the diet you are getting enough. Bee P.S. Joyce please trim your messages my friend - see the Candida Group Information folder on how to do it and why. Thanks a bunch.
Guest guest
Dear Joyce, One of the best ways to get enough calcium is from eggshells, and then you also need to take a magnesium supplement - the best is powdered citrate, in a gelatin capsule. The recipe for making eggshell calcium is in our Recipe Folder. Many foods contain calcium as well, but the highest source for candida sufferers is in canned sardines (about 260 mgs. per can), and canned salmon. But all meats, eggs and most veggies contain calcium as well. Bee P.S. Joyce, would you please trim your messages.

Guest guest
I remember Bee saying that Bragg's unpasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar was ok, it has lots of enzymes in it too. You only use like 2 tablespoons in a giant stock pot of water/chicken, and it cooks for 24 hours, but you can eat it after about 8 hours, it should have some minerals in it by then. Guest guest
I believe we had this discussion here before and someone said you can use lemon juice instead of vinegar for the necesary acidity. and yes, Bragg's is ok...but some folks still react to it. jackie > > > I thought vinegar was bad for you on the diet! >
Guest guest
violet, I had irregular heart beats with this diet when i did it to the fullest with the anti fungals. I had to stop the anti fungals and the rapid heartbeat went away. I have found that with added stress and worrying a lot my heart beat will get rapid. Try deep breathing and maybe some type of anti anxiety treatment or body work will help you to naturally breath deep and calmly. best of luck to you God Bless ~e~ ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
