Guest guest
Hi Bee, my next question would be related to the pain I am experiencing the last 3 weeks somewhere around my stomach/duodenum. This pain doesn't really seem to be related to whether I have eaten or not, or what I have eaten. I have read that on low-carb diets gastritis and such should disappear, so I am a getting worried. This is a different pain from the one around kidneys/groin, it feels a bit like my stomach (or duodenum? I can't say because I never had pain before in my life in neither stomach nor duodenum) would be contracted or empty even though it's not. Could it be from the wrong type of fats I use (my previous mail)? Or could it be from digestive enzymes I took plenty in the beggining? I got some digestive enzymes for candida (protease and cellulase) and on the bottle it says " don't take if you have inflammatory bowel disease or gastritis " , and I had mild gastritis some months ago, before the start of the diet. I didn't have a clue, are they really that harmful for gastritis? When I read that about 2 weeks ago, I have stopped taking digestive enzymes. Well anyhow, despite removing digestive enzymes from my diet (except some protease in my multi that I take with food) the pain didn't seem to improve. Or could the pain be because of the ascorbic acid or a herbal mix for candida/parasites which I also took plenty the first month on diet? But since quitting all that more than a month ago already, the pain is still here... Maybe this pain arose from all the pain in the groin/kidney area? The last month I am taking only the following supplements: - a multivitamin which also contains some protease http://www.vitacost.com/productResults.aspx?Ntk=products & ss=1 & x=0 & y=0 & Ntt=low%20\ carb%20multi - vitamin D 4000IU (for 2 months now, I was deficient in it, as well in tryglicerides and cholesterol) - vitamin E 1000IU - vitamin B complex 50 - coenzyme q10 - himalayan salt - fish oil - coconut oil - chlorella from time to time - now will try with magnesium, potassium and calcium supplements due to muscle cramps I'm also experiencing for 2 weeks now - I am experimenting with some individual amino acids for the last 2 months (mainly tryptophan, a few times also taurine, GABA, tyrosine and phenylalanine) Hope you could give me some advice on this... Most amino acids tablets are made from soy, which is not recommended, and they are harder for the body to digest than meats and eggs. ==>You can experience stomach pains when starting on the candida diet because it kills off candida in the stomach, duodenum and intestines. When candida is killed off it also puts out carbon dioxide, which causes gas, bloating and discomfort throughout the digestive system. You do need to eliminate " bad " oils and fats as described in my article. Bee
