==> I currently have Puritan's Pride coconut oil. It's the

first brand that I've tried though so I can't compare it to anything

else. What I can say about it is that I find the smell strong. When

it's open I can usually smell it in the next room even. I am VERY

sensitive to smells though so I'm not sure if that is why it is so

strong to me or not. It definitely tastes like coconut (hubby likes

it) but again I can't compare. I've been considering trying another

brand because PP is so strong. Thing is I really like the price that

Puritan has...fits in our budget better. :) I'm not so sure that

that the whole issue isn't just me. I have a hard time getting the CO

down anyway I try it, by the spoon, in food, in tea...I just wish I

could learn to get the stuff down. I've read of people here that eat

it by the spoonful and I wish I could too. Would be a lot easier that

trying to disguise it in foods. I just can't seem to get around that

oily consistency...it makes me nauseous almost instantly. I'm

starting with only a teaspoon at a time too.

Anyway...sorry I didn't mean to hijack your thread here. lol I don't

know if I was any help but if you have more specific questions please

ask I'd be happy to help as best I can.

Blessings,

interesting how much a personal preference this is....I don't find

Puritan's Pride Coconut Oil to be strong smelling or strong tasting.

I eat it by the spoonful and use it in my morning coffee and afternoon

tea. (yes, I know I'm not supposed to be drinking coffee but I still

do.) :o)

I haven't tried Tropical Traditions brand and don't feel a need to

since I like PP so much...and as said, the price is right.
