Why Does My Body React to Deodorant?

Why is it that I suddenly became " chemically reactive " with my

deodorant (started last April)? It is the opposite of everything I

ever learned in my life. I put deodorant on, I smell chemically/icky

within an hour or two. My husband says it (the underarm reaction)

smells like the starch in new clothing, but very faint. He claims it

isn't a bad smell, but I don't want any darn smell under there! No

deodorant, no funny armpit smell. Well, lol, until I sweat enough,

but that's usually hours and hours. I find that a dab of econazole

cream and a pat or two of baby cornstarch works all day while

deodorant seems to exacerbate the problem. Any ideas why?

Sorry. I'm a little obsessed with this problem. Mostly because it

is so profoundly perplexing and just happened out of the blue one

day. This really, reeeeeally sucks. I hate it.

And if this really is candida causing this " starch in new clothing "

(or whatever) smell...how long until it GOES AWAY?

And (I know, I ask too many questions, just slap me) does anyone

think having my root canal removed will help this problem? It's

white filling, not a amalgam (or whatever) but all of this started

when I got that blasted thing. Don't know if it's possibly that or

the 2 months of the antibiotics. Sigh. I'm so exhausted from

dealing with this. I want my stink-free life back, and all my energy

that seems to have been drained from me like a seive. I'm starting

to have memory problems, really major short term memory loss, and I

know it's from exhaustion from trying to maintain the schedule I used

to keep with the greatest of ease.
