Guest guest
i just found these again at my local h.f. store, i was very glad, becuase they are SO GOOD!! the only ingredient is coconut. its not roasted, just dried big flakes (not like the typical small flakes you see), i've been snacking on them today. a serving is 1/4 cup, 120 calories, 100 calories from fat. i've probably had about 1/3 cup today - they are such good snackers! these seem like an ideal candida food. any thoughts? thanks ~ suz
Guest guest
Dear Suz, Sounds delicious. I used to snack on those little coconut flakes, but yours sound so much better. I've bought his buckwheat flour there before. Alas, they don't carry his coconut flakes! Maybe the health food store does. Zack
Guest guest
oh yes bee you're telling me what i'd hoped to hear! you wrote in another post this eve that you were looking forward to geting " fat & sassy " . i love that expression, that's a good one! after dinner i got a hankering again for the coconut flakes, so i've been sitting here nibbling away.. i've probably put down another 1/4 cup at least - they are too good to stop! they're chewy and crunchy all at the same time... but i'm closing the bag now, really. i wonder how much i can eat before it will make me fat & sassy!! its supposed to be good for the metabolism right? ;-) > Dear Suz, > > Sounds delicious. Guest guest
Dear Chef, I like that expression too - " fat & sassy. " lol! It sounds so self- determined eh? Yummy coconut flakes. Wouldn't they have the goodies that coconut oil contains. I don't know whether they are good for metabolism.
