To the point where I had a headache, nausua and major burning of the stomach and throat. A herbalist at the party offered me " Digest More " or " Digest More Ultra " by ???. Within 20 minutes of taking the digestive enzymes the pain and headache disappeared. It was as if I never ate anything bad. I've heard lots of good things about digestive enzymes and I don't believe they interfere with healing candida. However, I don't have any expertise there. Maybe this is something you can try. ~Candace Yes Candace, I do use Betaine Hydrochloride with Pepsin. I need that for proper digestion of my proteins. I think that was a flook yesterday because I don't have it today. I am glad you found something to help you with your indigestion. Guest guest
Dear Faith, You may experience problems with raw veggies, like salads, so you should probably eat steammed veggies, especially greens. Have greens and other veggies with lemon juice and butter (mixed), which is delicious and aids digestion. Do remember it takes time for the body to respond, so you cannot expect to feel better so soon. When you get an upset stomach take some baking soda in warm water. Guest guest
Joyce, would you mind describing the major indigestion symptom, related to a candida flare up? What happens exactly? (indigestion is such a broad term).

I've read others talk about feeling like they don't feel their bodies can use the fats. > > Also, I've found I get fluctuations with how my bowels when I'm eating better. I'll get runny movements a lot. It's pretty disgusting burping and tasting egg drink hours later. Is this something that over time my body will be able to digest the fats or whatever it is that is making me burp up and not digest? > +++Hi . Your body is well equipped to digest the " good " fats I recommend because they aren't digested the way unnatural fats are. They are readily absorbed without needing any kind of enzymes nor even bile in order for them to be absorbed and utilized. In fact they go directly from the intestines through the lacteals in the walls of the intestines. The lacteals go through the lymphatic system, and then directly into the bloodstream. So no one would have any kind of fat digestion problems if they consume the " good " fats. Of course all nutrients work together, and so the fats also need omega 3, and vitamins A, D & E, protein, minerals, etc., etc. in order to be utilized like they should. But that has nothing to do with digestion or absorption. There will be many changes in your symptoms as you adjust to all of the great foods, which are healing your body. Your runny movements are because that's a way your body gets rid of toxins. I'm sure your burping will eventually subside too. Burping doesn't mean you aren't digesting foods okay; it is caused mainly by gas, which is created by candida when it is being killed off, and some foods. Eggs are high in sulphur (one of the 7 macro-minerals your body requires) and it is antifungal so that could explain your symptoms too. Also some people may swallow air while eating or drinking without even realizing it, particularly if they are stressed. I suggest you do some deep breathing exercises just before you eat, to minimize air swallowing - the instructions are on my website.
