Hi Kim,

I don't know about mecury causing or contributing to TMJ, you could do

an internet search and see what you might find....Bee always tells

anyone concerened about toxic metals that the diet and supplements she

recommends will help chelate any metal toxicity from your body.

There are some folks in the group who have had mecury fillings

removed, pehaps they will chime in about their experience. I do know

that if you choose to go that route, you'll want to make sure you find

a dentist that is familiar with the safest way to remove them. From

what I understand, it's not just a matter of taking them out...it must

be done safely. My own dentist told me that in his opinion taking out

the fillings caused more metal to be released than leaving them in.

I had heard that. This person told me that you basically have to have

some sort of dam blocking the back of your throat, as the drilling out

of the filling will cause the mercury to be released into the mouth

and down into your stomach, lungs, etc. My dentist said that the

white fillings aren't so great either.
