Guest guest
Hey Bee, I have been doing the hot shower/cold water thing for my adrenals as listed in the adrenal weakness file, and i notice that adrenal area aches after the hot/cold shower soak. What could be causing it to ache? Also, what exactly does that exercise do for the adrenals? Thanks, Juli Also, my 10 year old son, who has mild Aspergers syndrome, has started the yeast protocol (he has been on the yeast diet long enough), and we have started garlic, chlorella, caprylic acid and oregano, all in that order, gradually. It has been about 2 weeks, and he has started increased tics, like clearing his throat repeatedly, cocking his head back over and over. He has had tics on and off, mildly for a few years, but now it is bad. ARe we going too fast killing the yeast, or should we just work through the increased anxiety in him? THanks, Juli ppa. What are your thoughts on Fungal Defense by Garden of life? I am wondering if this wouldnt be easier, less supplements. He does not eat starch or sugar or juice, he loves meat! __________________________________________________

The aching could be a sign the showers " wake up " your adrenals. The aching should subside after awhile. You can also do " dry skin brushing " , which I believe is more effective, and jump rope or rebound on a trampoline. Exercise is very important for adrenal functioning. It doesn't have a pump to move it like the heart, so exercise or stimulating showers are the only way to get it moving, which helps it clear out toxins and move the fluids around the body. > > Also, my 10 year old son, who has mild Aspergers > syndrome, has started the yeast protocol (he has been > on the yeast diet long enough), and we have started > garlic, chlorella, caprylic acid and oregano, all in > that order, gradually. You could back off a big on the antifungals so the symptoms aren't as severe. Coconut oil is much better than caprylic acid, which comes from coconuts, and it is not processed. He does not need to take so any different kinds of antifungal. Besides coconut oil he would only need garlic or oregano, not both, nut it won't hurt him to take both - it's just a thought if you want to save money. > What are your thoughts on Fungal Defense by Garden of life? > I am wondering if this wouldnt be easier, less supplements. That's because they spend a lot of money on marketing and advertising. IMO garlic OR oregano are just as good. Good certified organic raw garlic is very inexpensive by comparison. See my notes about about the numbers of antifungals. Coconut oil is extremely important as part of the diet along with other good fats, i.e. butter, lard, chicken fat, beef fat, etc. Bee
