Guest guest
Sounds like yeast die off to me - although I'm no expert - the one time I went through the cleansing process I pretty much felt like crap for 2-3 weeks, then started feeling better. Guest guest
Hi Tess, I used to pass out all the time. Normally this occures if I don't eat enough or often enough. Make sure you are taking a good vitamin/mineral suppliment, this will help a lot. Mood swings and CFS often happen when you become sensitive to certain foods. Have you tried an elimination diet yet? *8-)
Guest guest
Asli, thanks for your kind thoughts... >I also feel like fainting sometimes (going up stairs, etc) and it happens >when I eat >sweets/sugar . I am " detoxing " for the first time. I haven't had sugar in 1 1/2 weeks! >If you're feeling worse than before maybe you're having die-off symptoms. >Have you >talked to your practitioner about how you've been feeling lately? i did call her today. just to check in. we are meeting again on thursday. >Try to stay positive and count your small successes. thank you!!! <hug> There are lots of dietary triggers, so it's best >to try to refine your diet first. that is pretty much all i am doing - with some supplements, like vitamins, evening primrose and a few 'cidals. thankyouthankyouthankyou!!! _________________________________________________________________ Don’t just search. This is my first attempt at anything dietary other than weight loss diets (which have never really done ANY good!) _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! Guest guest
You may really want to consider the elimination diet. Doing it, I discovered I had acquired a whole bunch of food sensitivities. Isn't too hard to do. Just choose to eliminate 1 or more of the common allergy foods: red meat, dairy, corn, eggs, citrus, night shades like tomatoes and potatoes, caffine, wheat, soy, etc. I started with dairy... do not eat dairy for a few weeks 2-4 weeks. Note in a diary how you feel during that time. Testing day1: 1 glass of milk with every meal, day2: none, day3: real cheese with every meal, day4: none. It can take 15min-48 hours for symptoms to appear and because you are eating the pure version of the allergy food, you should see some kind of reaction if you are sensitive to it. Mine were dairy, corn and caffine. When I stopped eating them.. my CFS went away, my recurring yeast infections went away (possibly too because of diet reduction of processed foods and sugar), the headaches went away (caffine was causing them), and a bunch of other symptoms disappeared! It was honestly one of the most useful things I have done for my health so far. You can learn more about the elimination diet on google.com by searching " elimination diet " *8-) > > Thank you, no. Guest guest
Dear Bee, I have been taking Candicid Forte for 6 months to treat Candida and Pyloricil for H. Pylori. Have you heard of these herbal medicines and do you think they are effective? I was feeling hopeless yesterday since Candida has been a battle for me for many years now ... finding your web site has made me feel better. Your article on the Candida Diet is very helpful and I want to incorporate using garlic and Pau d'Arco tea into my diet. Thanks for being so informative. Is it truly possible to bring the body back into balance and be healthy again? I have been plagued with this for so long.
Guest guest
> > Dear Bee, > I have been taking Candicid Forte for 6 months to treat Candida and > Pyloricil for H. Pylori. Have you heard of these herbal medicines and do you think they are effective? ==>I checked out the two products you are taking. If you are doing well on them you could take them until they are finished, but do not buy any more. If you are not doing well, of course you should stop taking them. You will do much better starting on my diet and only taking the supplements recommended. These products are complicated, containing many different herbs, so you cannot know which ones may be causing problems. It is much better to take simple products. ==>Candicid Forte is intended to build up the immune system, but it is much better to do it with nutrient-dense real foods. See the file on the Immune System. Candicid Forte also contains herbs like goldenseal which kill candida, but I've found that coconut oil, raw garlic and oil of oregano are much more effective. It also contains cinnamon extract, chamomile and ginger root to help alleviate bloating, gas and cramping, but it is much better to have the " real thing " , i.e. chamomile tea, and make your own ginger root tea (see our recipe folder), and to take good organic ground cinnamon in Bee's Raw Egg Drink. ==>Pyloricil is a Mastic Gum Extract, which is a natural resin from the Pistacia lentiscus tree of Greece. Yuk!! There are many other better and more natural treatments for H. Pylori. In fact cabbage juice is extremely effective, and cabbage rejuvelac, which is fermented is even better - see the recipe files. Also ground red pepper is very effective - I just posted an article on is yesterday. >I was feeling hopeless yesterday since Candida has been a battle for me for many years now ... finding your web site has made me feel better. Your article on the Candida Diet is very helpful and I want to incorporate using garlic and Pau d'Arco tea into my diet. ==>That's great you aren't hopeless. This beast can be beated my friend. Do ensure you start on coconut oil along with the diet, but wait to start on garlic and Pau D'Arco until you are totally following the entire diet - they are for the antifungal step. If you take them too soon your die-off symptoms could become intolerable. >Thanks for being so informative. Is it truly possible to bring the body back into balance and be healthy again? I have been plagued with this for so long. ==>The body can be brought back into balance be healthy again for sure! Absolutely, positively! I cured my candida after having it for over 25 years! See Bee's Personal Candida Story in the files. You can do it to! Giving your body what it needs to naturally heal is the way to go! The best in health, Bee >
