I woke up today and noticed I have a black layer on my tongue. I've

been searching the net and its often referred to as " black hairy

tongue. " I'm not sure what it is. Could this be a die off sympto from

the anti candida diet. Another thing is that I've been using this new

toothpaste and mouthwash from Product line.

Does any one have experience with this?

Now that I look at it, it looks more like a brown layer than black.

I was so intrigued after your post so went on line briefly to look it up. Why

don't you just softly brush your tongue for a few days and see if it goes away.

Doesn't Candida product a brown phlem (sp?) in the back of the throat for one of

the symptoms? Maybe your new tooth stuff kicked something off?

Maybe Bee will see this post tonite or Dr. M.

Don't get alll freaked about it yet.

I don't think this is a symptom of die-off symptoms.

Often foods eaten can color the white thrush on the tongue. You said

it was kinda brown eh? It could be from the tea you drink or other

foods. My tongue gets quite green from the chlorophyll I take.

Are you taking a complex vitamin B or eating liver regularly?

Sometimes a lack of balanced B vitamins can cause changes in the

tongue as well. If your tongue is not painful I wouldn't worry too

much about it at the moment.

same thing today. The tongue is like a black and it wont just scrape

off. I'm going to give it a few more days. If I dont see any

improvement I'll have it looked at.
