Guest guest
Dear a, Thankyou for your kind reply. It is helpful to know of another who has experienced this, and that they 'got over it'. I have a bunch of questions. Would you mind reading through them and answering them carefully if you could/ have time? Were you able to tolerate foods such as white fish (halibut, cod, flounder, perch, latchet etc.) and chicken, during the period of inflammation? Do you know what caused it? Were there any oils or fats you could tolerate? Did you know about/use coconut oil at that time? Would you mind telling me what (food, supplements) you did tolerate? Did you find blending/purreing all your foods helped, making them more soupy? Olive oil does not suit me either. :-) We have that in common. Unfortunately, I get terrible constipation. I kind of wish I had dhiarroea! :-) Coconut oil is meant to be anti-inflammatory, and fairly easy to digest. I did take it with 'formula' which is of a milk like consistency and have been reccommended to take it with food. I'm really hoping I will do better taking it blended into some purreed broiled meats (I know you don't advocate lean, Bee, but fatty meats are not good for me right now) and steamed vegetables, blended, my mum finds this soothing on her digestive tract and she has had inflammation in her colon. I hope and pray it will be for me too. Did you lose your appetite, not want to eat during this period? Did you struggle to maintain your weight at all? These are definite issues for me. Thanks for your time.
