Guest guest
I've started using FitDay to see how my ratios are going. What an easy programme and I'm loving it! Does anyone add the supplements into their daily foods list? I guess they would have to be added via custom foods as they don't list all supplements. The reason I ask is because if I run a report on what nutrients I get in a day, some are lacking but I know I'm getting them via supplements. Oh, also, I haven't been able to find steamed vegies, like broccoli and cauliflower. They have the option for boiling and other cooking methods but not steaming. I believe the nutrients stay in the vegies if they are steamed, rather than some being lost in the water when boiled. I only lightly steam them, so they are still slightly crunchy. Would it be better for me to just say they are raw? What I have noticed is that I don't eat enough food a day! Is it still ok if I get my ratios correct but less than what I'm supposed to be eating for my height? I eat breakfast, lunch (unless I have a nap with my son) and dinner. I don't snack. Eventually I will figure out how to eat more but for now the best I can do is to get the ratios about right, even if it is less than what I should be eating. Does that sound ok for starters? Sorry for all the questions and thanks for any advice. Jen )
