Sometimes I just drink a tablespoon of it with a meal. Sometimes I put it on a salad. I put a tablespoon of it in buckwheat pancakes. The coconut oil I have been using is very flavorful. It says " Virgin coconut oil " on the jar. Unfortunately, the local store that sold it just closed for some reason. I'm hoping I can find the same brand (NOW Foods) around here somewhere else. Guest guest
Taking it the way Zack suggests with foods, by the tablespoon with meals, etc.. I have taken it on an empty stomach - using it more like a straight antifungal - but it does stir up the yeast, causing die-off, and it can cause an upset stomach that way. I'm sure you receive the antifungal affects of it anyway you take it, even if you rub it on your skin. Guest guest
When I feel my candida is kicking up I will sometimes get a slimy icky red rash under my breast or inside my thigh. coconut oil will usually clear that up with in 2 days. I did notice die off when taking it on an empty stomache but on the third day (4th, etc.) My stomache was gone that I had so I know it was doing something good.
