Guest guest
Noises use to really bother me. It is almost like your entire nervous system is heightened. I could sit in a resturant and literally hear 5 different conversations going on around me and I would want to jump out of my skin. Someone scraping a knife on a piece of toast and I could cut off their fingers or the sound of someone crunching. aghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! I could go on and on. Get the candida under control, take magnesium, cut out the caffeine, artifical sugars and colorings in foods, and follow the diet. You will notice a huge huge huge improvement. I was out at a resturant the other day with my sisters and this one was so packed, wait staff and patron flow hectic, and NOISY. My sister looked at me and said you are getting better. In the past, all of this noise and activity would of had you really agitated. I said really? because I had forgotten. She said yes I can't believe you are calm and not crabby. I laughed Yes I do understand the noise agitation and wanting to scream. If it is candida related it will go away as you get your system under control. Guest guest
Jeannie, I relate to this very well. I mainly attributed it to Meniere's disease which I also have. Wish I had more time to spend in the files. Am relocating to another state tomorrow. But, had to comment on this. lynn --- jeannekrieg@... wrote: > Noises use to really bother me. Guest guest
As you go along in your journey you might just find a reduction in your Meniere's, as well. I know the files are overwhelming but even if you just start with the expanded version of Dealing with your candida. It has a ton of information and is worth printing out. That probably isn't the correct title but it is the second file on the list. They thought maybe I had Menieres. I had dizziness, balance issues.......so many things and they all went away with following the diet. Happy Moving! Let us know when you land. Guest guest
Hi, Noise sensitivity is one of the many symptoms of multiple chemical sensitivity, which Janice and I have as well as candidasis. I am lucky that noise sensitivity affects me only slightly; however, I have an hyper sensitized sense of smell, which certainly caused its share of problems, but has greatly improved, along with my overall health. Guest guest
Fran/Janice, have you found the candida diet to help with your MCS? --Judy fgourd wrote: > Hi, > Noise sensitivity is one of the many symptoms of multiple chemical > sensitivity, which Janice and I have as well as candidasis. Guest guest
Jeanne otn, Thank you for sharing this...it just made my day! I thought it was just me...something wrong with me. I never once thought it could be candida related. That is just the best news I've heard all day. I get so irritated by noises that I often have to leave different situations to clear my head. Not always convenient as I'm sure you know. Knowing that this to shall pass well that just makes me even more determined to buckle down to the candida diet. To be free of that irritation would be wonderful. Blessings, > Get the candida under control, take magnesium, cut out the caffeine, artifical sugars and colorings in foods, and follow the diet. Guest guest
Fran I also have hyper smell problems. Something gone bad can actually make me throw up if the smell is real bad - sour milk, chicken gone bad, etc. Sadly my overexaggerated sense of smell causes embarrassment. Strong perfume can also make me gag. For the most part I can keep it under control but there are times ..... Is this also candida related? lynn --- fgourd <fgourd@...> wrote: > Hi, > Noise sensitivity is one of the many symptoms of > multiple chemical > sensitivity, which Janice and I have as well as > candidasis. Guest guest
Hi Lynn, I know what you mean about smells being amplified and causing reactions. In the case of people with MCS, they can even smell sub- odors that other people could not smell (e.g.: smelling the chemicals used on new clothes)... It's certainly my case to some extent. - Hypersensitivity to smell is also a symptom of MCS. - I don't know whether it is also candida related... would not surprise me since candidasis loads the body with toxins and creates havoc with all the organs, the nervous systems, the brains, etc., as does MCS. Take care, Fran > Fran I also have hyper smell problems. Guest guest
I have MCS, some noise sensitivity & electrical sensitivity as well. I had to unplug everything around my bed & put electrical stuff across the room. I use a flashlight next to my bed, no lamp. I have problems driving by large power poles or big electrical sources. I get worn out fast plus feeling numb, dumb & forgetful in big stores like Walmart or Home Depot. Even the physical therapy place I went to for a month twice a week for 2 hours each time made me ill. The chemical smells in the materials & merchandise really get to me most plus scents on people & their chatter. Screaming, boistrous kids or crying babies get to me the most. I can't shop in most stores for very long & am exhausted if I stay out running errands/shopping longer than 2 hours. Today I was out for 3 hours & didn't have the strength or energy to unpack my car to bring the stuff into the house. I'll do it tomorrow. I also didn't get all my errand-running done because I forgot some of them being so exhausted. So they'll have to wait until after the holiday. And so it goes................ Guest guest
Just a quick not to say thanks and Jeanne for your information. I've had Hyperacusis (www.hyperacusis.net) since 96, but many don't believe it's linked to Environmental Illnesses and Diet. : I have the dizzies, but it's only on one side of my body, can you figure this one out? Janice. __________________________________________________________ Find your next car at http://autos..ca
