It is best to go off all grains - maybe re- read that section in my article. > > I'm fine with losing the oats... only now I need suggestions please > on what to have as a mid-afternoon snack with my humous dip! :-) ==>Humus is not a good idea to eat Mike! It is made from chick-peas which are high in carbs, just like any other peas, beans or legumes. > Have to say, I'm not totally convinced that people in general would > stop losing weight on a Candida diet once their ideal weight is > reached... but hopefully it isn't something I will have to deal > with. ==>It is not true that people will stop losing weight on the Candida diet once their ideal weight is reached. I didn't. I kept losing weight. But when you have candida weight is a very minor issue, and it will normalize once you've gotten rid of the candida. The best to you, Bee

Hi Bee, Just wanted to tell you that I know two people who follow a low carb anti-candida diet (identical to yours) and have followed it for years and they lost weight to their ideal and then stopped. I guess it depends on the person. Guest guest
I can see weight loss stopping at ideal " weight " fitness level if the dieter were adjusting their intake of carb foods (i.e. more vegetables and adding in fruits or non-gluten grains) as they got more well, otherwise weight loss would probably continue.
