cracked pepper vs. black pepper?

Isn't cracked pepper a kind of black pepper? I don't know...

that's what i think, but i'm reading that some folks can't have black

pepper but they can have cracked pepper??

The way my ND described it to me was that black pepper was not as pure

as cracked. It was clear as night and day when I was tested on the 2.
