Guest guest
I have known a friend to complain of something similar, though she did not have any ENT problems. she saw a doctor (GP) who said it was a soft tissue thing, caused by tension in the neck/top of shoulders and that the already tender/tense muscles were going into spasm. I believe that she was prescribed valium, as a muscle relaxant, short term, but decided against this and went to see an osteopath. He gave her a good massage and loosened up some stiff joints in the neck and thoracic vertebrae. She saw him about three times and was completely sorted. Obviously I have no way of knowing if it's the same thing, but it might be worth a go? hope it sorts itself out soon. julie
Guest guest
I've never had it but my sister has used the same words to describe something that happens to her hands... " they suck in and hurt so bad she cries. " I have told her to go to the doctor but she hasn't so no help in knowing what the deal is with her. I just thought it interesting to hear that terminology used that she used albiet on a different part of the body... Anyone ever get this? Quick query, but has anyone else suffered from their neck feeling sucked in? A hard one to describe but has happened a few times over the last couple of months. It is eyewateringly painful when it happens and seems like the opposite effect of when your ears pop? I did query it but was told it had nothing to do with the ear problems. I have also queried with GP's that it's not down to upper respiratory tract infection. It's not my throat cos I can breathe ok, just the sides and rear of of my neck. Also causes an alarming resembalance to a Cardassian out of Startrek, well neckwise anyways June
Guest guest
Thanks Bee, I will try your program on digestive enzymes. Funny, mine says to take after a meal. You say to take it before. I will let you know how it goes. Faith ==>It is possible that the gnawing you are feeling is caused by your bowels. Doing some simple exercises will help, as well as massages in those areas, and ensure you are getting enough digestive enzymes - see the Digestion folder on testing for stomach acid and how to take them.
