It is important that you are following all of the diet including all of the supplements, and not taking " other things " . What is recommended works together. If you eat any grains, starchy foods or veggies, legumes, beans (other than string beans) while on the diet they will bind up your bowels even if it is very small amounts. ==>Enemas are a very important part of the program too. Start with a coffee one - see the Enemas Folder on how to do them. ==>Please read through everything in the Digestion Folder, especially the article on Constipation - you may need to do the 5-day program recommended there. Also ensure you have enough stomach acid - see the article " Digestive Enzymes and How to Take Them " which includes a stomach acid test. ==>You would not reduce veggies to almost nothing for sure! But until your digestion is improved you would be best not eating raw veggies, even steaming some kinds aids digestion and also increases nutrients. Ensure you are having lemon juice and ocean sea salt in water as recommended, as well as vitamin C, vitamin B complex, cod liver oil, etc. - all of the supplements listed. ==>The amount of fats you ingest relative to the amount of protein is important for digestion as well. Re-check the amount against the Ratios recommended in the Candida Diet Folder. > If you want to speed things along very quickly start with 4,000 mgs. vitamin C and take 1,000 mgs. every hour until you get loose stools. Or take lots of magnesium, i.e. 250 mgs. 4-6 times a day for up to 3 days can produce loose stools, but also ensure you are taking at least 400 mgs. of calcium. You could take magnesium and vitamin C treatment at the same time if you really want to push through this - it won't hurt you. I hope that helps. Let us know what you do and how it works for you.
