Guest guest
hi emotional detox: mine seems to come in the form of getting easily flustered and pissy, then it moves into feeling downhearted and " poor me " . that's not normally like me! hey robin, i've been keeping my journal of dietary intake, activity, & how i feel from day to day. so far no links to what triggers fastigue or other recurring symptoms, but its a good process and i'm keeping it up! ~ susan > > > > > i busted out the vegies though, > > > > > and made a green juice and i must say it gave me some good clean > > > > > energy. i think i'll even go out for a walk before it gets dark... > > > > > what? a walk? yep, i'm putting the vote in for green veggie juices. > > > > > i've heard it said that they are like a " living blood transfusion " > > > > > with all that chlorophyll. > > > > > > > > > > i do feel like i just got a boost. and i'm going to get my blood > > > > > circulating while i have the energy. > > > > > > > > > > happy day! ~ susan > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi. Guest guest
Hi again Suz, Nice to hear about your journal. I had to take a break from mine while on that little Seattle trip but it was working great before -- especially about reminding me to take the enzymes, probiotics and some supplements. last night i went out to dinner with my stepdaughter and unfortunately, ordered a " flat-iron steak " : Although the waiter said that nothing in the entree had sugar added, the onions were somewhat carmelized. They were served on the meat so while I didn't eat the onions, the suace must have " infected " the meat. I ended up eating more than I'd planned because we got to talking. I had headache within an hour and last night I didn't sleep at all. My body is still racing. It's dangerous out there! ~Robin > > > > > > i busted out the vegies though, > > > > > > and made a green juice and i must say it gave me some good > clean > > > > > > energy. i think i'll even go out for a walk before it gets > dark... > > > > > > what? a walk? yep, i'm putting the vote in for green veggie > juices. > > > > > > i've heard it said that they are like a " living blood > transfusion " > > > > > > with all that chlorophyll. > > > > > > > > > > > > i do feel like i just got a boost. and i'm going to get my > blood > > > > > > circulating while i have the energy. > > > > > > > > > > > > happy day! ~ susan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi. Guest guest
have i mentioned that my friends & family affectionately call me " Suz " spelled just like that? or are you just really intuitive? so sorry to hear about your dinner effects, maybe the steak had been marinaded or something? i hope you're starting to feel better! its a challenge to not feel like a total jerk when asking about entrees. it IS hard to eat out. when in doubt, i politely & apologetically ask the server to ask the chef. at least i'm in good company with scott (my almost-husband) and his sister. she has celiac disease and so between the two of us its like playing twenty questions with the server in a restaurant! scott is very understanding and patient. he gets it. so, it sounds like a good day for green juices, and maybe some dandelion/burdock tea ~ suz > > > > > > > i busted out the vegies though, > > > > > > > and made a green juice and i must say it gave me some > good > > clean > > > > > > > energy. i think i'll even go out for a walk before it > gets > > dark... > > > > > > > what? a walk? yep, i'm putting the vote in for green > veggie > > juices. > > > > > > > i've heard it said that they are like a " living blood > > transfusion " > > > > > > > with all that chlorophyll. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > i do feel like i just got a boost. and i'm going to get > my > > blood > > > > > > > circulating while i have the energy. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > happy day! ~ susan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi. Guest guest
I worked in a lot of restaurants in my time and try to be a good customer. The description of the entree said " flat iron steak with opinions " . I asked the waiter if the " sauce " had any sugar in it and he said no. (Everything else on the menu was way too complicated...) Sitting with my stepdaughter (she's a little older than you -- 38...) I didn't want to make a fuss, I was hungry and so there you go. Tea for me today! It;'s not that bad and I'm feeling better already. Now I'm off to walk the dog -- (What a nice life I have now.) ~Robin _____ From: chefsuz2 [mailto:thenaturalkitchen@...] Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2004 10:14 AM Subject: [ ] Re: My Basic Green Juice Recipe/emotional detox have i mentioned that my friends & family affectionately call me " Suz " spelled just like that? or are you just really intuitive? so sorry to hear about your dinner effects, maybe the steak had been marinaded or something? i hope you're starting to feel better! its a challenge to not feel like a total jerk when asking about entrees. it IS hard to eat out. when in doubt, i politely & apologetically ask the server to ask the chef. at least i'm in good company with scott (my almost-husband) and his sister. she has celiac disease and so between the two of us its like playing twenty questions with the server in a restaurant! scott is very understanding and patient. he gets it. so, it sounds like a good day for green juices, and maybe some dandelion/burdock tea ~ suz > > > > > > > i busted out the vegies though, > > > > > > > and made a green juice and i must say it gave me some > good > > clean > > > > > > > energy. i think i'll even go out for a walk before it > gets > > dark... > > > > > > > what? a walk? yep, i'm putting the vote in for green > veggie > > juices. > > > > > > > i've heard it said that they are like a " living blood > > transfusion " > > > > > > > with all that chlorophyll. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > i do feel like i just got a boost. and i'm going to get > my > > blood > > > > > > > circulating while i have the energy. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > happy day! ~ susan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi. Guest guest
oh yeah, i hear that. a lot of the time i just want to be a good customer too (i've worked in a few restaurants myself!). but too many times i get a plate of something that's so disappointing when i realize its not what i should be eating. i've been food sensitive for years, and i used to just suck it up and eat anyway, but the reprocussions are so devastating sometimes, so i've learned to to be a really friendly question asker. also, i get boring, and end up going to the same few places all the time once i find somewhere that has friendly food! i'm sure you kmow that one too. thanks for the gadget list!! i do have a couple of them (green power and cuisinart). how i would love the excalibur dehydrator! i have coveted my client's vitamix blenders since i saw my first one... and an actual sprouting system - what a concept - i'm still into glass jars w/ cheesecloth i've had two green juices today, i'm trying to beat an onset of wicked constipation. i can't figure out what started it! but the green juices do seem to help things move. ~ suz > > > > > > > > i busted out the vegies though, > > > > > > > > and made a green juice and i must say it gave me some > > good > > > clean > > > > > > > > energy. i think i'll even go out for a walk before it > > gets > > > dark... > > > > > > > > what? a walk? yep, i'm putting the vote in for green > > veggie > > > juices. > > > > > > > > i've heard it said that they are like a " living blood > > > transfusion " > > > > > > > > with all that chlorophyll. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > i do feel like i just got a boost. and i'm going to get > > my > > > blood > > > > > > > > circulating while i have the energy. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > happy day! ~ susan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi.
