I read the files section about soaking grains and that it is not

required to soak brown rice as long as you cook it for around two

hours. I have a hard time cooking brown rice for two hours without

it turning to mush so I plan to saok it. So for one cup of brown

rice you put two cups of water in a container and add some lemon

juice and let it sit out for around 6-7 hours? Do you cover the

container or do you just leave it open? Also when the 6-7 hours are

done do you discard the water reclean the rice and cook with new

water, or do you just cook with the water that you saoked your rice

with?

Hi there. I was reviewing the messages and just realized that no one

answered your question about rice.

You can soak brown rice in 4 cups of warm water to which you have

added 4 tablespoons of lemon juice, cover, and let it sit in a warm

place for at least 7 hours or overnight. You can cook them in the

same water you soaked them in.

I hope that helps, and again I'm sorry we missed your message.

The best,

You are very welcome. Please do re-post anything I accidently

overlooked my friend. Okay?
