Guest guest
Dear bbc, I qualified allowing kefir on the candida diet in my earlier post but I want it to be noticed separately. As I said, I laxed up somewhat in allowing kefir on the candida diet. But that leaves it open for everyone to buy kefir in the store, which is not okay. Kefir in the stores is still high in lactose (sugars) and is not okay on the candida diet. The only way kefir is okay is if homemade with kefir grains which is allowed to ferment a much longer time to remove the sugars. Later I will look up the recipe that gives the number of days kefir should be fermented for the candida diet. I'm concerned that candida sufferers on this forum will not progress like they should on the candida program I recommend. So I must stick to my guns on certain standard things. I don't want to get a bad reputation that my program doesn't work. I " know " what works, and have helped many people overcome their candida, and what I've stated about all dairy products still stands. However, I do need to write up Phase II and III diet programs for those who have progressed enough to add certain things to their diet. That will take some time, but it will happen soon, I hope. I've been tied up this weekend so give me 2-3 weeks to come up with something. Do good, Bee > Hey Robin and all, > > Since I work with my voice for a living, I do tend to notice the things > that can cause gluck (that's the technical term <g>) in my mouth and throat > more than some others. Surprising as it may seem, Diet Coke (which I can't > have anymore) makes gluck. Hershey bars are the worst <sigh>. I really did say I don't think dairy is a good idea for candida sufferers and I don't use it in any form (when I am behaving myself). That includes cow, goat, yogurt, and kefir. b
Guest guest
Dear bbc, I knew you were asking questions my friend. Sometimes I write more in response than would be necessary if it were just you because I also want to clarify for others on the forum. Warm regards always, Bee > > > > > > >I'm concerned that candida sufferers on this forum will not progress > >like they should on the candida program I recommend.
