Guest guest
One more question today - I think this is mostly for Bee, but all input is welcome. I've been on the diet for four weeks now - and I still have oral thrush and a vaginal yeast infection. I've read Bee's files about oral thrush and I've been gargling with hydrogen peroxide for ages, but it doesn't seem to work. I've also tried every over the counter and natural remedy for vaginal yeast infections that I can find (including Bee's), in addition to just leaving it alone. But I've had this yeast infection for two months now (!). Should I be concerned? I haven't tried any nystatin because I don't have health insurance so going to the doctor is quite expensive. I thought that the natural remedies would help, but should I get a prescription for nystatin - is that the only answer? Or should I just trust that the diet, supplements and antifungals will work? My stomach problems have almost completely gone away, in addition to gas and bloating. I also feel more energised and the cravings for sweets has subsided (I was even able to bake brownies for my office this weekend, and wasn't that tempted to eat one - baking is my favourite hobby). But still the yeast infection and oral thrush persist. Please let me know what you think. Thanks, Gloria
