Hi there,

I haven't tried Garden of Life's coconut oil even though it is now

available here in Calgary, but it costs $21.00 for a much smaller jar

than the Omega Nutrition I buy which costs about $9.00. I'm sure GoL

is a good product. I take Garden of Life's Icelandic Cod Liver Oil.

It is costly too but it's the best product I can get here.

You can take coconut oil right at the beginning of your candida

program. It's an important part of the program and is the best oil

to cook with. You should try to get about 25% fat in your diet

(counting the calories); fat is twice the calories of meat or carbs,

so it sounds like a lot more than it is.

The best to you,

Bee

diet or do you have to wait a little?

My children and I love Garden of Life coconut oil. It has a very rich,

coconutty flavor. (To me, Omega Nutrition coconut oil now tastes bland.) You

can buy GoL coconut oil online from www.vitaminshoppe.com for $11.17 per

16-oz tub. By the way, you can usually find coupons for vitaminshoppe at one

or the other of these websites:

<http://www.currentcodes.com/> http://www.currentcodes.com/

<http://www.funtasia.net/> http://www.funtasia.net/.

Another brand of organic extra virgin coconut oil that tastes the same as

GoL is Tropical Traditions, the brand recommended by Dr. Mercola. You can

order directly from Tropical Traditions at the following URL:

http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil.htm

They are currently offering a free 16-oz trial size tub. The shipping rates

are reasonable, and they offer a variety of deals on different sizes -- even

a massive 5-gallon pail of it! (No, I haven't ordered that one yet!)

Happy coconut oiling!

Anne

You can buy Garden of Life at Amazon for $11.17. Here is a link

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00014IVPQ/ref=sr_1_1/102-0457630-\

I love it. . .but you have to be careful, as it can give really reve up your

metabolism and it actually made me shaky. All you have to do is cut back

though. I think I am just sensitive because I was born with a half a thyroid.

Take Care

Dear Sherry,

I'm so glad you are back. I missed you. That's interesting about

GoL coconut oil. I've never heard of that kind of response before.

Would other coconut oils also do that to some people?

With half a thyroid do you have to take thyroid meds?

The best,

Bee
