Guest guest
I used to use tea tree oil straight, on a tampon for yeast infections. It worked and I did not become sensitized to tea tree. However there are some people reporting they have become sensitized to tea tree oil because of using it neat [straight] and they can't use it in anything anymore. [allergic reaction like] Garlic bulbs, whole and chewing them up helped a LOT. So did garlic capsules. NOT the deodorized kind, [they don't work they only make you think you are doing something good for your body] Garlic helps a lot with yeast infections. What I get now sometimes is a type of yeast infection in the groin area, much like jock itch. lol I'm laffing at the other terms for it, but I won't use them here. It's not a yeast infection like the regular vaginal yeast infections. It's some other kind said my gyn. I don't remember the name. It doesn't always itch, but it hurts and causes a bad smell. Once in a blue moon is vaginal, but not usually. What I used the last time I got the vaginal infection was our certified organic sea buckthorn seed oil. I inserted some and rubbed some on the outside. The infection was gone in 2 days! This is a HUGE deal for me. When I have gotten the yeast on the outside, I have applied the sea buckthorn seed oil. The last time, I let it go accidentally, because I didn't know it was so bad. And it was _bad_. I tried to take pix with only showing skin, I will see if I can post them on my website. It was really, really, really bad. I put the sea buckthorn seed oil on every nite for 5 days and it was gone. What said is So true. Your partner can give you this yeast if he is not treated too. And most times, he doesn't even know he has it. Janine
Guest guest
Thank you so much . For now I am ok, if it comes again, I will try this cure too. ~Vera Henry <henrycreations@...> wrote: Vera, (warning guys, specific women info. enclosed) A nurse practitioner taught me a cheap trick with boric acid. Just find a nature store/pharmacy that sells gel caps and buy boric acid powder and use them like insterts for a week. I've stolen the gel caps from my own herbal pills if I needed to in a pinch. A pantiliner is necessary, it seems to suck water out. I also just tried to use an apple cider vinegar pill for the same per day too, it seems to be working. Guest guest
Hi Marie There is a section in the files folder called " Women's Health Issues & Treatments " , that has a section on vaginal yeast infections. I am in the process of treating mine also. Good luck > > I was just scanning the files and found a recommendation for using > Nystatin to combat vaginal yeast. > > In addition to diet and Nystatin, are there any other > treatments/recommendations? > > Please guide me to the location in the files if this infomation has > been posted. > > Thank you. > > Marie >
