Guest guest
Dear Bee, I've read your file on adrenal glands recovery and it was very helpful. I have adrenal fatigue and candida. I've been on your diet for 2 weeks and a less restrictive candida diet for the previous month before that. I feel much better on your diet and can control my blood sugars. My problem is die-off and other symptoms. I don't think I've been on a strict diet for long enough to have die-off yet, I imagine it hits you like a bus ...or flu! I'm having foggy brain days and muscle and joint aches with fatigue but still pushing myself to work. I had some food sensitvity tests the other day and I don't know how helpful they are as nearly everything came up positive (bad). I'm happy eating a simple diet but I have about four things I'm sure don't give me symptoms and the rest still experimenting. I seem to become sensitive to foods I've eaten a lot of and am worried will eventually become sensitive to chicken, coconut oil, egg yoke as that's what I'm eating most of. Is this something you've heard of in your experience? I can't rotate four foods!! But when I get a foggy brain, how do I know if it's die-off symptoms or food intolerence? I don't want to cause my adrenals more stress by feeding it veg it doesn't tolerate. I think adrenal fatigue is a large part of my problem, is this common in a lot of candida cases? Any help or direction would be appreciated. Thank you Bee!! Amy

When your body gets good nutrients from good foods it will use them to work hard at healing, which causes symptoms. Those symptoms are mistaken as being a problem with the food, when they are not. I don't believe you need to rotate foods at all. Do not be concerned about food intolerance at all. When you know it is good unadulterated food it is exactly what your body needs in order to heal, so they will cause healing reactions. > > I think adrenal fatigue is a large part of my problem, is this common in a lot of candida cases? ==>Yes, definitely the adrenals are greatly affected by candida and are very common for most candida sufferers. > > Any help or direction would be appreciated. ==>Do what is recommended in my main article and the adrenal article and your body will eventually heal and your adrenals will normalize. But it does take time and patience. More is not better because your body takes its own time in healing in the way it sees fit. Believe in your body and do everything right, and you will come out okay in the end. > Thank you Bee!! ==>You are so welcome Amy! Guest guest
Hi Amy, I never heard the word adrenal fatigue before, but I think that's what I suffer from. I read some more of the files, and that's what bothering me. I'm always tired, and can't be very active. I don't like it at all.. But I'm motivated now to make changes. Guest guest
Hi a, I only realised my adrenals played a part in my candida when reading through Bee's file and while googling. Over the last few years I've just pushed myself too much, not relaxing, stressing over work and other silly problems and getting addicted to bread!! My symptoms are long (and could get boring!!) Main probs: Low blood sugar - very regular meals Multiple food sensitivities/reactions Foggy brain/dyslexia (used to be a clever clogs) Problems writing Sensitivity to bright light/blind in the dark/spots in front of eyes Ringing ears/blocked ears/sensitive hearing Only put weight on around stomach, difficulty putting on weight. Low blood pressure Feel faint/dizzy/lightheaded/shaky Palpatations Unable to take any sort of stress (especially emotional) Snappy when hungry/tired Tired in the morning, gets better in the afternoon then a dip, peak energy after dinner in the evening. Bee's diet seems to have helped the blood sugars and adding sea salt to everything helps. I'm trying to do nearly all the tips in the Helping your Adrenals file. Getting to bed early, making your life simple, body brushing etc. Try and get to bed by 10pm. www.adrenalfatigue.org is a little help but Bee's advice seems to spot on in mirroring what other people say.
