Organic food is very expensive here and I have to be very disciplined to cook seperate meals for myself, my son who is extremely faddy and my partner who eats constantly and pooh poos any diet whatsover. ==>You can do a lot to help yourself Marguerite. Remember that only your body can heal itself provided you give it what it needs to do its job, and eat nothing that is " man-made " . You will find you need to eat less amounts of food when they contain nutrients and are not toxic, i.e. organic. >It will be hard, but when I start to see benefits I'm sure it will get easier, how do you all manage with other family members and children who are eating normal diets?. ==>They are not eating " normal diets " because " normal diets " are diets based on nature. They are eating toxic foods which are devoid of nutrients. Eventually its affects will show up with diseases. Many families change over to a more healthy way of eating together, but that can be difficult if other members do not see the damage they are causing themselves. Actually healthy eating is very tasty, but when a person is addicted to sugars and chemicals added to foods it is hard for them to change their bad habits. My own daughter believes I'm a nut when it comes to foods and health. It pains me to see the large bottle of Canola oil on her counter. I have to take my own foods in order to eat at her house, esp. butter, sea salt, salad dressings. > I am very loathe to take any supplements as I'm afraid of this " die > off " thats mentioned by a lot by members. ==>I do not believe the supplements recommended will cause die-off, but changes in the diet will if you do not do it gradually. When I could only eat 9 foods in the whole world while I was curing my candida (everything else came back up), my supplements stayed down and didn't cause me any problems, and I started on digestive enzymes right away. But do start them at a low dose and gradually increase them. >As ive said before I have the sole responsibility for running the household and must be strong as I can. Is there something I can take that will help to boost my immune system but not cause bad side effects? The doctor today prescribed antibiotics (yet again) for a sinus infection that has been going on for over 3 weeks and I will take a probiotic alongside them. ==>You can treat your sinus problem without resorting to antibiotics. See the article on Sinus Treatments in our files, and also take megadoses of vitamin C (4,000 mgs at once, and 1,000 mgs every hour until you reach bowel tolerance - loose stools - then cut back 250 mgs. every hour until you reach bowel tolerance again, and so on), and also drink 4 cups of clove tea per day (perferably made from only organic whole clove spice, which are not irradiated, crushed up) - use 2 teaspoons ground in 4 cups of water. Boil the water first, remove from heat and then add the cloves and allow it to steep 20 minutes; strain and drink hot or cold. > I have also pulled up the carpets as I'm so sure that they are > contributing to my sinus problems. It is very fulfilling to me to help so many people at my age (64) after going through what I did to become healthy. > bless you all You too Marguerite!
