Here you will learn how to help your body heal itself by giving it the nutrients it needs to do its job. > > I believe I have Candida from the numerous tests I've done online. > I also have Crohn's disease which I was diagnosed with 10 years ago > and have been following the SCD diet for the last 5 years (which is > why I don't quite understand why I may have Candida). ==>There are a number of things the SCD diet doesn't get right about nutrients and diet. You will understand after you read my article " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " . >I take very good of my health, so the initial diet will not be hard for me as I already do not eat any Starches, grains or complex sugars. I have a question regarding broccoli and snow peas... are we allowed them? I know it said to avoid peas, does that include snow peas? And there was some confusion about broccoli... ==>Snow peas are mostly the green pods so they are okay to eat. Broccoli is a wonderful food to eat. It is high in vitamin C and contains many other important nutrients. In addition it inhibits candida growth. The best way to eat it is slightly steamed and smothered in butter with sea salt and pepper, or with some fresh lemon juice added. ==>also any ideas for breakfast would be appreciated... I had 2 boiled eggs this AM but I am already quite thin and would like to try and gain some weight... will need more to eat in the AM than that. ==>The best breakfast is to have my raw egg drink, which is in our Recipe Folder. You need to start out with less saturated fats (butter and coconut oil) and gradually increase them because they are antifungal and too much at the beginning can overwhelm your body causing healing reactions. These fats are so important for healing the intestines and for strengthening them. The best in health, Bee
