(And Why) ==>Neither are good cheats no matter what. Croissants contain white flour and wine is alcohol which is extremely bad for candida sufferers because candida toxins are mostly alcohol. It would be better to cheat with a very good chocolate than either of these. > Second, how exactly coffee/caffeine is bad for us? I tried to explain it to a friend of mine, but I'm not sure that I really understand the process. ==>I am just going to post an article " Caffeine is Not Good for Your Health " . > > I'm not questioning the " diet " (maybe I should use " a way of life " , > because I truly believe it really is) here, I'm just person that > needs to know what's under the hood of the car that I drive. > > Happy Sunday everyone! ==>You too, Jasmina! Guest guest
Bee, Can you elaborate on the alcohol/candida toxins. I am curious if the effects of alcohol are accelerated in those with candida and also is the small amount in vanilla extract enough to feed the yeast? I haven't been using any extracts but would like to. In fact there have been people who have never drunk alcohol but when tested their alcohol level was way over the limit to drive a car. There's a story about one such man in my Yeast Syndrome book. In fact his own wife even suspected him of imbibing. He proved he hadn't drunk any alcohol, however he did have candida. That's why so many candida sufferers feel like they a hungover - many of the symptoms mimic an alcohol hangover or drunkenness. ==>Vanilla contains very little, even less than in ground cinnamon, so it would be okay.
