Guest guest
Dear , When you read the Yeast Connection Book you will find differences in the diet, so you might want to caution others. Especially about oils and good saturated fats. Cheers, Bee > > Buy the little book The Oil and Protien Diet by Johanna Budwig. I > > > Hi. This is interesting. Is the recipe you posted ( " Linomel > Muesli " ) the only thing you're suposed to eat on the diet? How much > are you supposed to eat, how often, etc.? > > Thanks for info. Aren't those " taboo " on a strict Candida eating plan? He also lists bacon on one of the breakfast menus, but elsewhere he says not to eat bacon! Very confusing, LOL Other things he lists in his menus, which i know aren't really supposed to be on a Candida eating plan -- peanut butter, milk. I haven't yet found his guidelines for fats and oils.
Guest guest
Dear Melee, Sorry about getting your name incorrect. >>>>>Thanks for this info and caution. I loaned my copy of The Yeast Connection book to someone who can't find it. Maybe that's a good thing eh? ====>But from own experience and studies I developed my own Candida Program, mainly based on Weston A. Price's research and writers on his website. I just found out last week how much my diet aligns with NeanderThin. ===>Very interesting Melee. Guest guest
> Dear Melee, > > Sorry about getting your name incorrect. > That's okay!!! (((((((hug))))) No hard feelings! Thanks again for all this information and of course for setting up this Group and keeping it going, as I imagine it takes a lot of time and work. The information and support here is wonderful. > > > ====>But from own experience and studies I developed my own Candida > Program, mainly based on Weston A. Also the paleonutritional research websites. Probably because I've always been fascintated with ancient history. And the Weston A. Price website too is great, though they are pro-grains, LOL At least they're anti-soy/anti-canola, and have a lot of thoughtful articles about whole foods, traditional " food ways " etc. I bet you would enjoy reading a couple of my favorite books -- " Coming Home to the Pleistocene " by Shepard, and " African Genesis " by Ardrey. Pretty disappointed in this " Yeast Connection Handbook " now, boohoo. Oh well. Live and learn.
Guest guest
Dear Melee, Thanks and (((((hug)))))) back my friend. You are very welcome indeed for the information and for my setting up this group. But the group is creating itself too. It's wonderful isn't it? This is so fulfilling for me though and it's not work really, it's fun and rewarding. People like you make a difference too. I'm glad you're here Melee. You deserve to be healthy and feel good and reach the goals you have in your life too. Be your own best friend. I have a special place in my heart for you, Bee > > Dear Melee, > > > > Sorry about getting your name incorrect. > > > > That's okay!!!
