someone at the Toronto Chapter of the WestonAPrice.org, and for me

it's $21 for a small container or large don't remember, but the

lipstick mini containers are $2.00 each. It's comes from Thailand,

and I've gotten four containers and I have never tasted about fishy

or unpure or smelled anything funny and it's just so pure I've never

had any problems with it. And another person I know says their

quality is better than the Tropical Traditions.

Calgary, compared to Extra Virgin CO from Garden of Life - I think it

is over $30 for 16 ounces!!! That's wonderful you can get it for

only $21 - can you please tell us the size of the container, and the

contact person in Toronto for the WAPF chapter member?

have Coconut Creme too!, which almost taste like Whipped Cream, and

they are $3.00 per container.

==>Thanks so much for the info.

Hi Bee,

I bought a jar of Bali this morning in Toronto, I paid $17.99 for a 473ml jar

haven't opened it yet but I will in a day or two.

Hello! Ann here..

I'M the Toronto rep for Bali Sun coconut oil (and I run a local

chapter of WAPF as well, that's how I found out about Bali Sun).

It really is high-quality and delish. I have been healing from my

candida thanks to using it on your regime Bee!

I have 473mL, 710mL, 2 and 5gallon sizes available, and I'm located on

Spadina south of College (near kensington market). I also have all of

Bruce Fife's books on the healing benefits of coconut oil, very useful

resources.

Too bad the prices are so high in Calgary at the moment. I'll ask Jim

Stott (the Bali Sun importer, he's based in Montreal) if there's a rep

in that area.

Btw, I also give demos/info seminars at health food stores and often

have directed the people I talk with to this group (I hope

that's okay Bee!). I was writing out the address so often, was

thinking of getting a flyer printed up.

So, you can reach me for more details at: ann.denny@...

and by phone: 416-389-8378

Also, for healers in Toronto that would like to attend

WAPF monthly get-togethers, please check out our group here:

Warm wishes, Ann

ps hi Maddalena, which store did you get your oil at? That's a very

good store price!

** Hi Ann,

I got my Bali coconut oil at Evergreen at the corner of St. Clair and Bathurst.

He told me his supplier lives in Streetsville which is closer to me and he'll

ask him to drop off my order for me in the future which is great.

I will be coming to Toronto in two weeks I will drop in to say Hi if you don't

mind.

Hi Ann

I e-mailed Bali Sun and received a reply back from Jim Stott. He is currently at

the Thailand facility, so closer to my time zone. Jim said that he can organise

to send me some Bali Sun VCO directly from Thailand to Australia. He's going to

get back to me with prices and freight via sea mail. I'm a little unsure about

how much I can bring into Australia, as the AQIS wording is not really clear:

" 3. How much food can I import for private consumption?

The amount of food a person may import for private consumption depends on the

kind of food so please read the following carefully.

The amounts allowed per person are:

a.. For a food that is in liquid form, less than 10 litres.

NOTE: Lesser limits may apply to alcoholic beverages under Customs laws;

b.. For food that is not in liquid form, less than 10 kilograms;

c.. For concentrated liquid foods that are used in the preparation of other

foods and not usually consumed unless as part of other prepared foods, not more

than 2 litres;

d.. For moisture reduced foods (however packed) other than liquid foods, that

are used in the preparation of other foods and not usually consumed unless as

part of other prepared foods, not more than 2 kilograms;

e.. Spices (however packed) that are used in the preparation of other foods

and not usually consumed unless as part of other prepared foods, total net

weight of not more than 1 kilogram. "

I'm not sure if I can bring in 2 Litres or 10 litres? What do you think? Would

you consider VCO to be " food that is in liquid form " (10L max) or " concentrated

liquid foods that are used in the preparation of other foods not usually

consumed unless part of other prepared foods " (2L max)??? Obviously, it will be

more economical to bring in a larger amount to save on freight.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Jen :o)

Can you call anyone to clarify how much coconut oil you can bring in

at one time? Would your health store know anything about it? It

would be a shame to buy it, and then have it turned away.

When I e-mailed in reply to Jim Stott at Bali Sun, I did tell him that I would

need to check on how much I can bring in. VCO is hard to get where I live and

very expensive. I will e-mail my contact person at AQIS with a specific question

but wanted to see if anyone could give their own interpretation on the AQIS

policy.

My health shop are not really interested in helping me! Sad, but true! Shame on

them! They snubbed me on Oil of Oregano and I have been waiting weeks for Pau

D'Arco tea (they also gave me a hard time about how I pronounced it!) I have

also asked them about many other products and it simply falls into the 'too hard

basket' for them. There is one other health shop in town that I just discovered

but she is sooooo casual about things, that it is hard to actually get her to

enquire for me! The last thing I asked her was about a large order of VCO. She

said she would look into it. I am supposed to go back to the shop to check on

whether she has done it or not. Would have been nice if she took my phone number

and rang me about it. After all, I was asking for a LARGE order! Very

frustrating! This is why I look to the Net and import things myself now.

Don't worry, I won't order more VCO than I know that I can bring into Australia

in one hit. It's all time consuming though Bee but I do hope that my efforts

will at least help any fellow Aussies in the Group.

Luv Jen x

Does anyone know of a resource for Bali Sun CO in the US? I've been

looking online and have not found it yet. It would be good info to add

to our CO resource list.
