Guest guest
Hello, If you're having difficulty with digestion, Bee's egg drink is a great place to start. The benefits of eggs, coconut oil, and butter are truly incredible. Even cinnamon has many benefits! I've enjoyed the drink many different ways, but my favorite is probably when I blend the ingredients with about 1 cup of hot water... maybe a little more. The original recipe calls for 2 and 1/2 cups, but I find it a bit watery tasting. If you're having trouble with it " sitting in your stomach " , try reducing all the ingredients in half. As far as taking the lemon drink with it, I would suggest making the lemon drink with 3-4oz (instead of 6) and drink it before you drink the egg drink. This will activate the stomach acids. Then take one vitamin C (1000mg), then drink the egg drink. Hang in there, it gets better.
Guest guest
Hi emyblu86pink, I was leary of the egg drink at first myself, it sounded " odd " and therefore I wasn't sure how it would taste. But...there really isn't any reason to be scared of it.....just give it a try! ) > Have you found it nauseating? The first time I drank it, I had an upset tummy from it (just a tummy ache, I didn't throw it up)...the amount of butter/coconut oil as listed in the recipe was was too much for me at that point in my healing so I reduced it the next time I made the drink and had no upset. > > Is it easy to digest? yes. > > Do you take the lemon/salt with it? I did not. > > When blended, how many cups/mls does it make? close to 4 cups I think, when it was " whirling " around in the blender container it reached near the top. > > Wwen made exactly to the recipe, do you drink it all at once as a > meal, or is it too much? some people drink it all at once and others drink part of it and save the rest for later. > Is it tasty? yes it is. > > Is there anything in taste you can compare it with, to give me an > idea? not that I can think of. > > And, could four tablespoons of coconut oil be used instead of the 2 > coconut and two butter? (I don't tolerate butter, it 'burns'. yes, use what works for you...Keep in mind, 4 Tablespoons is a lot of coconut oil at one time. If you haven't built up your tolerance for coconut oil yet (it causes die-off) you may want to reduce the amount accordingly and then work up to the 4T. > > One more thing, is it 'heavy'? or light? As in to digest, you know > how there are foods that make you feel 'heavy' and foods that make > you feel 'light'. I found it to be " light " ...to me, carbs feel " heavy " in my stomach. hth, jackie

Have you found it nauseating? ==>Some people have gotten nauseated from it because they weren't used to the amount of coconut oil in it, which needs to be started at a low dose and gradually increase. The nausea is because coconut oil is killing candida overgrowth in the stomach. > > Has anyone used it alone as a source of nutrition? Like when there > having digestive probs just taken it alone 2-4 times a day? ==>I used it last year as my main source of nutrition when I had my 2nd bout with candida after 18 years. > > Is it easy to digest? ==>Extremely easy to digest. > > Do you take the lemon/salt with it? ==>No, don't take lemon and salt with it. > > When blended, how many cups/mls does it make? ==>You can vary the recipe according to the thickness you prefer. I usually made 3 cups. > > When made exactly to the recipe, do you drink it all at once as a > meal, or is it too much? ==>You usually drink the entire amount while it is hot/warm, sipping it over an hours period of time - it is a meal in one. > > And, could four tablespoons of coconut oil be used instead of the 2 > coconut and two butter? (I don't tolerate butter, it 'burns'). ==>If butter burns your stomach you would do better on ghee, which has the protein removed from the butter. Also you might need digestive enzymes. Burning can also be caused by candida being killed off in your stomach as well. You can use as much coconut oil in the drink as you like, and not have the butter too. > > It seems almost unbelievable to me that these could be 'easier' > foods to digest than carbs. Does this include being easier to digest than fruits and Veg.? ==>We have falsely been led to believe that fruits, veggies and fibres are good for us, when they are not. Our bodies cannot break down cellulose in plant foods at all. I just posted information in our Candida Diet Folder on the importance of Protein, and another one in the Fats & Oils folder on the importance of saturated fats. Another article of interest is " Carbs, Scientific Proof They Cause Disease. " In fact the healthiest groups on Earth ate only meats and good saturated fats and no carbs: The Director of the National Museum in Iceland says that it is definitely established that during 600 years, 1200 to 1800 in Iceland, there were no dental cavities. The foods they ate were milk and milk products, mutton, beef and fish. They ate no carbohydrate. The only exception to this was a little moss soup in the summer, but this was a rare " fun food " of little nutritional importance. Two Indian tribes reveal the same thing. The prehistoric Indians of California were vegetarians, unlike most folks of that period, and they had tooth decay. In contrast, the Sioux Indians lived on buffalo meat and were devoid of cavities. The Pueblos worshipped the Corn God, but he was not grateful. They have the most wretched teeth of all the American Indian tribes. They live on corn, squash and beans. The Laplanders, who ate mostly reindeer meat during the 18th century, rarely had cavities. Modern laps have a decay rate of 85% of their teeth. Guest guest
I have not tried this egg drink yet. I am now curious but it somehow seems gross but i keep hearing how good it is. So...i will try it. I have a question...do you think that it would be safe to eat (drink) half of this drink and then bring the rest of it with me to eat maybe up to 4 hours later. With the coconut oil in it do yuou think the drink would stay okay (keep the bacteria in check) so that I would have a quick " snack " while I am on the run. I take it in a large thermos coffee mug and drink it on my way to work and I'm sometimes sipping on it for hours. It may need some mixing if you save it until later, but it will be okay in a thermos. Or put it in the fridge at work, stir it and enjoy! Bee >

I make mine at night and put it in the refrigerator. In the morning I drink about 1/3 of it, and I take the rest to work in a thermos. It stays cold all day (I like it better that way), and I drink it little by little. Guest guest
> > Does anyone know if Bee's Raw Egg Drink can be put through a feeding > tube? ==>I believe puts it through a feeding tube, but she has to clean out the tube using club soda to cut through the fat. Try less fat to begin with and see if it cleans up well before adding more. More boiling water may need to be added so it is not too thick as well.
