Guest guest
> MY biggest fear is the breathing problems with the candida dieing off. Hi Theresa, breathing issues have not been a problem for me but I know from my friends with asthma that an attack causes a lot of anxiety which in turn exxacerbates the problem. Do you do any meditation or deep breathing exercises..or even yoga? You might want to try some of these gentle ways to help with anxiety and they will help you get through an episode of shortness of breath. The secret is to try and stay calm through it, knowing that it will eventually pass. jackie
Guest guest
When ever I go through die off I get panicky and kind of breathless at times. In fact a friend's doctor told him that constant coughing and that breathlessness is a sign of candida.....so if you are detoxing you might have the symptom, as well. Drink plenty of fluids, take magnesium 2-3 times a day, drink lemon juice/stevia/water/sea salt. For me anxiety was a big big issue with the candida. I know it seems so simple to just give some pat answers but I have been there too and know the feeling all too well. The last time I went through some major die off the only thing that saved me was the magnesium. Jeanne
Guest guest
Theresa, To me any breathing problems are my body throwing off toxins. To help my body throw off toxins I: Keep my teeth clean (direct removal of bacteria and decaying food), Take liquid chlorophyll once a day (draws toxins out through the bowel), Take a weekly bath with a cup each of Epsom salt and salt (draws toxins out through the skin), During the bath scrub with a loofa or natural bristle brush (Clean skin is a better toxin eliminator.), Drink plenty of clean filtered water, If I have sinus problems I rinse with saline made with 2 cups warm filtered water, 1/2 teaspoon sea salt and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. (clear breathing passages help eliminate toxins) Breathe steam (from filtered water) to help liquify mucus from bronchials Get some exercise to help speed up toxin removal through breathing, bowels and sweat. Definitely eat more coconut oil, butter and olive oil to help flush out toxins through the use of fats. One last thing that works, but you have to be free of candida first, is eat a fresh apple. Hope this helps! --nh From: " Theresa " <wynn8113@...> Subject: Fearful of BREATHING problems with die off symptoms MY biggest fear is the breathing problems with the candida dieing off. Guest guest
Hi All, Also, emotionally, fear, anxiety are at the root of candida, so dealing with your fears, control issues, will help. Guest guest
Hi Theresa: Yes, not being able to breathe freely is very scary. When I have had those episodes, I can't even lie down because I can't get enough air in. I have to remain propped up. (Thank God it's been a long time since that has happened). I agree with the suggestions everyone has posted for you, but along with breathing steam as nh suggested, I have found that adding eucalipus and/or spearmint to the water helps to open up the breathing more. Also lavander helps that way also. Just bring some water to a boil in a large pot and remove from the flame. Add in the herbs, then hold your head over the pot with a towel over your head and breathe in the steam. That has helped me in the past. Good luck to you and take care!
