Guest guest Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 An MRI uses very strong magnetic fields and radio waves but no radiation in the sense of nuclear radiation or x-rays. As long as you don't have any metal embedded in your body, they are safe AFAIK.
