Guest guest
is a fast a good idea to start, since it seems like i am reacting to EVERYTHING while fasting what nutrients to take, and which first and how do i add them currently i have on hand not necessarily for this but i had them and a freind gave me some. can anyone tell me if i fast for a few days, how and when to go about adding these things in. i know i need spoon fed, and the archives are hard for me to dig thru as i also have fibromyalgia and the pain (mostly on right side )of all the typing gets to me. thanks garlic, aloe vera, ginsing, enchenacia, , co q 10, multi vitamin, ginko biloba, colon cleanse, flax seed (pill form) bee pollen, royal jelly. my friend had some of this and i dont know what and how to do with it. thanks also what foods to start with first days of eating if anyone can help me spoon feed i would be grateful. i know you all emailed me a bunc a few weeks ago but i am so confused as they say so many different things. email me privately if you would and is there anything i should buy if i could only buy one thing also i do have an digestive enzyme, and probiotic. thanks Donna Jean
Guest guest
Rob, SO SORRY it took so long to get back to you, but very buisy working a full & part time job as well as getting ready for Christmas. First, I can't claim to fully understand your pain, as my trouble was with my neck, upper back and horrible migranes. I can tell you that the very best thing I used for pain management was a tens unit. I had the kind with 2 different connections, and 4 pads. It looks just like a pager, and is not very large. Mine could adjust the pulse (how it feels) and the strength. The only problem is that you go through alot of batteries, but they are still cheaper than the meds, LOL. I also bought a bunch of the instant hot pads (the kind that stick to you). Oddly enough, sounds really strange, the shape that worked best for my neck were those that are meant to be used for menstrual cramps. MOIST heating pads were, and still are one of my best friends. I am not saying that I have not taken, and still do take pain meds--- believe me I do, but I have found these other items to be a big benefit. PLEASE also remember, you need to try and take a " BREAK " from things every once in a while, even for 5-10 mins. Soft music, a nice book or just being left alone is a welcome relief. You are not crazy, and you are not making up this pain. Unfortunately, being in pain for so many years without the proper treatment/diagnosis, left me very depressed. Compiling this problem is a husband who just " doesn't get it " and really thinks that I have an agreement with my doctors and surgeon just so I could be out of work. You know, I said " the hell with these idiots " , and set out to research my condition and treatements best I could. Research and documentation have helped me to retain the sanity I have left. If you have the opportunity to (if your insurance will pay for it), I would also recommend learning bio-feedback. I have found this very helpful to " calm myself down " during stressful situations, thus eliminating my body sending off pain signals. I also know of a few people that find different forms of Yoga helpful as well. Take care. Best wishes for a Happy, Healthy Holiday season!! I have asked Santa for a new body, LOL.
