Guest guest
Worked- 1) Grapefruit seed extract- get a well known brand, like any herbal the quality is important. 2) Probiotics- again, a well known brand it a MUST to actually get live bacteria. 3) Tea tree oil topically or combined with goldenseal extract in warm water for use on skin or vaginal area/douche. 4) Avoiding dairy products like the plague Have yet to try Pau d'arco, but this is a wonderful anti-fungal - just ordered some. Can't take garlic because it lowers my blood pressure too much, BUT garlic is also a power anti-fungal ( also anti-bacterial and anti-viral ). MOST OF ALL- MEDITATION and staying in a positive mood. IF I get too stressed or moody my candida goes nuts! Candida hates happy! Marcie " Your biography becomes your biology. Guest guest
Sue, how did it enable you to go off of the Celebrex? I am now on it as my stomach can no longer take the ibuprofen and would love to find a more natural remedy. Sour cherry concentrate is excellent for arthritis and also helps with migraines. I used to get it and mix an ounce with juice each day. I imagine the cherry pills work in the same way. I think the zyflamend might help you, too with the arthritis side of things. You can go to www.vitacost.com and type in zyflamend to get a list of the herbs in it that you might want to show your doctor. It enabled me to go off the celebrex entirely. sue in ohio

Guest guest
I use to suffer with many uti before! After a year it disappeared! Then i am getting them again! I prefer not to be antibiotics. However, I learend for me it doesnt cure the issue all the way by taking cranberry extracts! If I do have aninfection, I need anitbioctics. What I should of done, is look at a prevntable measure. Which is take a cranberry extract or nutrtional supplement. It stronger than taking drinking cranberry juice. Plus juice has sugar! Even my doc suggest taking a cranbery extrat while I was on meds! Guest guest
Have you ever tried Colloidal Silver for UTI's? It's a natural antibiotic. I've been able to overcome a number of infections by taking a teaspoon to a tablespoon orally a couple times a day, as it eventually gets down to the bladder. Colloidal Silver http://www.lifeplus.com/dominie is the brand I use - high quality and reputable. About cranberry extracts or juices - don't get the kind with sugar. Capsules of cranberry extract alone would be better. UTI's can be related to yeast overgrowth (candida), so avoid sugar. Dominie
Guest guest
Yes. The man who turned blue was using some kind of home-made colloidal silver concoction. There are very few cases of agryria considering the millions of bottles of colloidal silver manufactured and used by consumers. The Colloidal Silver I use is extremely high quality, but you're right - use judiciously and only when needed. It's kept me out of the doctor's office more times than I can count. I don't have insurance that cover's doctors' visits, labs, exams or tests, so I have to find ways to help myself or my medical bills would devastate us. Guest guest
The herbs like tumeric and ginger that are in the zyflamend are natural anti-inflammatories. I read about zyflamend at Dr. Weil's website and in his "Self-Healing" newsletter that I subscribe to. He said it is one supplement that has been widely tested and researched so I tried it and it helped with the pain a lot. Although the fibro is not an inflammatory condition, my back pain after my spinal fusion in 1998 and the bit of arthritis and chronic bursitis in my hips are inflammatory and the zyflamend helped with that just as much as the celebrex did. The vitamin D3 helped with both the arthitis type pain and the fibro pain. sue in ohio>> Sue, how did it enable you to go off of the Celebrex?
