I emailed Andy Cutler and he suggested the break and then to re-start and ensure I was taking lots of anti-fungals. I have restarted at 65mg ALA every 4 hours for 3 days and then a break for at least 4 or maybe 11 days in between. Not sure if I am going to be able to tolerate that dose. Must admit that I am feeling much more tired than normal today and have only take 3 doses so far! I seem to feel more bloating/movement in my colon today but can't believe it could stir up the yeasts that quickly. Pam
Guest guest
TK, Do you know why ALA causes yeast to flare ? Pam - Mercury Hi Pam, On the Mercury issue if you have only been chelating for 6 months with ALA that is a very short time and you still probably have a lot of Hg left in your brain and organs. As you know this will screw up your whole endocrine system [adrenals, thyroid etc.] until and for some time after it is removed. It will also continue to cause yeast issues. The ALA will cause yeast flair ups while chelating also but it has to be done to get well because if you don't get rid of the Hg the candida will keep reoccuring. How much ALA are you currently chelating with and on what schedule ? Just some input, TK > Hi Duncan or anyone else who can answer > > Any ideas on how long one should notice an improvement in > adrenal/thyroid function after getting rid of a huge systemic yeast > problem. Guest guest
Is ALA alpha lipoic acid? Re: Pam - Mercury TK, Do you know why ALA causes yeast to flare ?
