Guest guest
I was deep down in my bones tired when I went on PD. Six bottles into it the fatigue started to lift. Then I went on a blood cleansing program and the fatigue came back. It ebbs and flows. All I can tell you is that if you took a break from all those things, even just for a week, you would feel better. If you don't want to take a complete break, try cutting back. You are using a couple of different agents here that will create die off. Try not using them all at the same time. This fatigue really makes it hard to work doesn't it. I kept thinking, I'm going to have to stop, I can't cope like this. I'm going to lose my job if I make a big mistake. But mostly, I try to ride it out. The PD I was able to ride out. The blood cleansing program I took a break from because I started bruising. I'm back on it now and have no problems. Good luck whatever you decide to do Diane
Guest guest
A contra indication re: magnesium. Many of us here have thyroid problems. Lower dosages should still be fine though From http://www.thewayup.com/products/0237.htm High dose magnesium is contraindicated with kidney or adrenal failure & severe hypothyroidism. Do you think the mag and calcium compete then? I was wondering since I'm taking that combination. Thanks Roni

Guest guest
Thank you for your suggestion . I checked my bottle of Mega vitamin/mineral and found it has only 25mg of Magnesium and 100mg of Calcium. I found a link http://www.immunesupport.com/library/showarticle.cfm?ID=2892 and it says: Calcium and magnesium compete for absorption and so too much calcium in the diet will block magnesium absorption. Our physiological requirements for calcium to magnesium is about 2:1. In dairy products the ratio is 10:1. So, consuming a lot of dairy products will induce a magnesium deficiency. and it also says: Vitamin D is necessary for the body to utilize magnesium. The major sources of vitamin D are dairy products, sunshine on the skin, and seafoods (at least 3 servings a week) So now I understand why Magnesium is sold along with Calcium. I will look into purchasing a good Magnesium/Calcium supplement to take along with my Mega vitamins. The web site also talked about another good way of getting Magnesium is to soak in Epson Salt. I have this and will try it later. After I sent in my I'm so tired post, I had a thought and possibly another solution to my question. I was on Bowel Cleanse web site for a while back in January. There was a lot of talk about Colonics for the problem of fatigue. I wasn't suffering from fatigue at the time so I put it out of mind and unsubscribed from the list. Now a colonic seems just what I need - at least it makes sense - that if I'm going through a high amount of die-off and the toxins are being held up in my colon, then the toxins are causing the symptoms. I think I'll look into this too. Thank you all for helping me. Are there any other suggestions out there for ridding the fatigue caused by die-off? P.S. I've tried a vitamin C flush and this was good to get rid of headache caused by die-off but it didn't work on the fatigue. I've never ever felt this tired ever in my life. I feel for all of you that suffer from CFS. I just hope it doesn't become permanent with me. Lilly
Guest guest
Diane I can totally understand. I've recently moved to a new state and have been looking for a new job lately. I'm afraid that my tired look might keep me from getting a job. I've been on a few interviews and I've tripped on my own feet just walking into the office. I know they can see my tiredness and dragging body and it ill's me to think this may keep me from getting hired. I have to do something that will work really quick as I have two job interviews next week. I have a feeling I need a major flush of some kind to get rid of the toxin build up. I don't want to cut back on what I'm using which actually I'm only taking Grapefruit Seed Extract and a low dose at that. The other stuff is just vitamins and a some detoxing herbs. I think the detoxing stuff isn't working and I'll have to look for other ways to detox. Or, maybe the detoxing herbs are working too good and my colon is swamped with the toxins that were removed from my body, hmmmm. I keep going back to the idea that I may need a colonic. Hope I can find out how to get one. Thanks for your help. Lilly Diane Trudeau wrote: > This fatigue really makes it hard to work doesn't it. Guest guest
Thanks for your suggestions. I been following a pretty strict candida diet since the beginning of this year and have eliminated all sugars, dairy, potatoes, mushrooms, white rice, fruit, and wheat. Occasionally I'll cheat and have a little bit of pure maple syrup and real salad dressing (but not together LOL). The only flours I'm eating are spelt, brown rice flour, and buckwheat. I think what I have managed to do is to create a major die-off without a proper way to eliminate the toxins. I'd like to hear more on ways to detox or to clean the body of toxin build up.
