I know.... it's depressing, isn't it???? ALtho, I DO think I could MAYBE do

it for 2 mos, IF I knew that, at the end, I'd be yeast-free. I tell myself

every day that I am doing SO much better than I did when I ate all tha sugar.

But I can tell I still have yeast. So the question is:

1. would I rather go at the diet whole-hog and get rid of the yeast totally

(I hope), or

2. would I rather eat a moderate diet and control the yeast instead of

allowing them to control me?

Guess I need to ponder that, huh??? I DO know that, if I was guaranteed of

being yeast-free and able to eat lots of my favorite foods (but not sugar in

huge quantities, like I used to) I'd be more willing to do the diet 100%. I

guesss I am jsut skeptical that I will EVER be " cured " . If that's the case,

I'd rather just enjoy my dietary cheating, and let " control " be good enough.

SF722 and other yeast-killing stuff

I spoke with a very well-informed health-counselor guy at Needs today,

(www.needs.com), to ask about their SF722 that is touted on the Tripp

web page. It is supposed to be a really good yeast killing program..... the

SF722 is $15.25 per month's supply, and he says 1-2 mos is usually adequate.

He says if you still are not " cured " by then, that he recommends olive leaf

extract, which is an even MORE potent yeast-killer. (it's expensive

tho.....

you take 6 per day, and a bottle of 60 costs $17.50) . Does not recommend

that right off the bat, because it is so strong that most people complain of

too much die-off. Also has probiotics called Flora-Biotic 14....... $19.99

for 2 mos worth (you only take one per day). HOWEVER, he DID caution me

about the diet..... he says that it's is necessary to eat NO carbs, not even

complex carbs. He states that yeast can extract enough sugar from only 20

Gms

of carbs per day, and they they can mutate to require even less. So the

diets we are doing won't " get it " . He recommended the " Sugarbusters " diet

for 2 months or so, and then we can begin adding back in some other foods.

I ordered a catalog by calling them at 800-634-1380. I'm gonna take the

stuff I have for now, and then, when that is done, I might give this SF722 a

try. I've heard from so many people that you have to rotate your

yeast-killers to avoid their becoming resistant, so this might be my next

plan Not affiliated, just keeping you all informed, LOL.

Lynn ( who was REALLY hoping the diet was not so strict)

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I just can't feature doing meat and

eggs for 2 mos, and even THAT has some carbs. So I guess we'll just have to

do the best we can. I STILL say, I'm doing MUCH better than I've even done

before, just by not eating sugar.

No carbs at ALL??? Is that possible? Even vegetables contain

carbohydrates. What are we supposed to live on - fresh air?

Guess we can cross the oatmeal cookies and the brownies out of

the recipe book, for a start. Getting seriously disheartened

here......a no-carb diet is simply not possible, and certainly not

healthy or balanced! I'm struggling enough as it is, and that's with

only having brown rice cakes and occasionally quinoa or millet, and

so many of my candida books encourage consumption of complex

carbs. I just don't see how I can GET any stricter and still live.

i did a lot of stir fry's. Chicken, Veggies, not to many carrotts & no beets.

cook a turkey or parts of one, i was allowed a b. Potatoe now & than! make a

soup with beef and the veggies, fresh veggies, i use to eat brocolli for

breakfast. if i do my 2 mile walk it gives me energy & i'm not as hungry!

that helps! i drink soda water for pop. no calories, no sodium, no flavor!

LOL! put a fresh squeezed lemon, stevia in it & the BEST LEMONADE!

well hold on now... I could just eat meat and eggs... =) It's the veggies I

hate. But yes, that definitely needs to be stressed:

WE ARE DOING WAY BETTER THAN WE USED TO!!

I forget to give myself credit for that all the time.
